Question:
I recently purchased a 2006 Fleetwood Santa Fe pop up camper. It has the original 185/80/13 tires that seem to be in great condition. No cracks in the sidewall whatsoever and tons of tread. Its always been garaged so the sun and weather hasnt affected them. Even though they seem to be in great shape, should I replace them based on age?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If there are no cracks on the sidewalls or tread and the tread depth is still good then the tires are likely fine. But there could be something unseen that would necessitate replacing the tires. You could, if so inclined, take the tires to a tire shop and have them inspected.
For a 185/80-13 the only tire option we have is # AM1ST79. It is a load range D rated for 1,725 pounds at 65 psi.
