  Are there any visible signs of wear on the magnets like exposed windings then that would indicate they need replacing. Magnets can go bad without showing visible signs of wear though.   The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust electric trailer brakes can be manually adjusted. There are a couple teeth of the adjustment wheel that are exposed just under the lever that you referenced.   It looks like the gross weight rating of your Jayco Jay Flight G2 32BHDS is 9,950 pounds. I am thinking that it has two 5,200 pound axles OR two 4,400 pound axles because they assume the tow vehicle is supporting 13 percent of the trailer tongue weight. If they are 5,200 pound axles then you would need 12 inch brakes with a 5 bolt mounting pattern such as # AKEBRK-6. • Where Do The Green Wires On The Dexter Trailer Brake Assembly Connect?
  The other green wire from the Brake Assembly # 23-468 will go to the 7-way junction box and receive power from the trailer brake controller.   You have to be careful if you lubricate electric trailer brakes such as # 23-468. You cannot get any grease on the pads or on the inside of the drum because that will have a negative impact on brake performance. The magnet arm and the shoes pivot at a single point each. You can use just some wheel bearing grease such as # L11380 at those locations. Ideally you would completely wipe away any grease prior to adding new grease.   Electric trailer brake assemblies for both 3,500 pound and 4,400 pound axles are 10 x 2-1/4 inches and both have the 4 hole square mounting pattern. So you can use 4,400 pound axles brakes. • Solution for Over Adjusted Never Adjust Brakes
  If you can pull the hub off that is going to be the easiest way to adjust the brakes looser but if it's super tight that might be hard. Otherwise you would have to use a drum brake spoon like the part # W80630 to try and move the adjuster back to a looser setting. You'll have to work against the mechanism that tightens the brake automatically which can be challenging but it is possible.

  The 4-bolt brake mounting pattern is fairly rare in a 12 x 2 inch assembly. We have some options though; for 6K axles we have # 23-105-09 for the left and # 23-106-09 for the right. The 4-bolt pattern on these assemblies is offset meaning the bottom 2 holes are closer together than the top 2 holes. If that is what you have then either set listed above would work.
