Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexter Single Axle Heavy Duty Suspension Kit for Double Eye Springs. Now, this single axle suspension kit is for 1 3/4-inch-wide double eye springs. These parts here will allow you to connect your double eye leaf springs to your trailer hangers, and the kit will include everything shown here on the table. It comes with the two shackle link assemblies, the two shackle links, two shoulder bolts, and then the six 7/16 by 20 size flange nuts.
These parts are made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the Dexter Single Axle Heavy Duty Suspension Kit for Double Eye Springs.
These don't fit. The bolt is too short. When I called to ask about install the tech could not even tell me if these mount on the inside or outside of the trailer mounting bracket. He told me to call the manufacturer. I regret buying from etrailer and I regret even starting this project.
If you order from E Trailer chances are your order will be wrong, I can’t understand why it’s so difficult. I just wanted 3 1/2” shackles and got 4 1/2 kits which I also did not want because I already had the nuts and bolts. The last time I ordered from E Trailer after following their own specs the order didn’t work and no refund. This is the last time I will ever be shopping with them again. It’s all about selling and not about customer satisfaction.

Great quality but parts weren't a good fit bolts were to thick and drop hangers were too long.

Replaced both leaf springs, hangers, and shocks on a Dexter 3500lb axle. Entire process took just over an hour.

Much heavier duty than the originals. Definitely an improvement. Helpful to use a C clamp to hold pieces in place while tightening nuts but keeping prices centered in holes.

Seems like quality hardware. Wish the lock nuts were a little tighter.

The customer service was outstanding. Thru the process of identifying what I needed to ordering and delivering the products I dealt with multiple Customer Service Representatives (CSR). Everyone of them were helpful and courteous. I really appreciated the follow up after my initial contact with CSR. Once the product was ordered I was kept up to date on the status of the order thru regular emails from an etrailer CSR. The parts arrived as they promised, and a CSR even followed up with me after that. Great service, keep it up!
I use the trailer almost every weekend and have had no issues so far.
As with the spring I bought they took some persuasion to install. My trailer perhaps. The three star is for shipping. It was a week later than the “estimated date” .
Other than slow shipping time, all arrived and worked as intended. shipping box had a hole in the side and the leaf springs were not packed very well, hence the hole in the box.
This was a prompt and efficient process. Although the shipping fee is high for a small purchase, the tracking process is amazing especially the update rate. Thanks.
