Dimensions of Bolts and Shacles of Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension kit # K71-403-00

Question:
Description on web site for suspension kit #K71-403-00 said 7/16 bolt diameter but a pre-asked question for the same kit said 9/16 bolts. What is correct diameter size of bolts? What is length of bolts and length of shackle links? Also what is the measurement of the camber on a Dexter axle model #25146, 3500 Lb.?

Expert Reply:
The threaded portion of the bolts of the # K71-403-00 are 7/16 inch but the stepped up diameter is 9/16 inch. The shackle length is 3-1/8 inch from hole center to hole center. The bolt length is 2-7/8 inches. We can't help much with the axle camber as the trailer axles are bowed and designed to flatten out with weight on them.
