Question:

Hello, Do you sell a 2 Shackle kit? I need 9/16x 3 inch bolts for the shackles. 2 doesnt seem very common but i cant lower the trailer much more

Hello David,

We do not have a 2 shackle kit, and we do not have Dexter that Dexter Shackle sold individually. Honestly, the Dexter Single Axle Heavy Duty Suspension Kit - Double Eye Springs # K71-403-00 is more cost effective as a kit than trying to piece it together.

Now that I re-read your question you might be looking for a 2" shackle, which we do not have.

What kind of trailer are you working on, and what exactly are you trying to do?

Its a double axle aluminum car hauler. Trailex. It is fairly low profile and im afraid of using a longer shackle and lowering it any more. My Springs measure 1.79 wide so i am assuming 1 3/4 but im a little confused because my bolts measure 2.98 Im pretty sure this is the equalizer i need- TREQ310. All 3 Bolt Holes Measure .564- so 9/16? The Shackles are 2"

@David On the Triangular Equalizer for 1-3/4" Double-Eye Springs - 6" Long - 9/16" Center Hole # TREQ310 all 3 bolt holes are 9/16". If you measured 1.79" then you definitely have the 1 3/4" wide. The bolts are actually 2 7/8" total length, but usable is 2 1/4". So the wet bolts in the Dexter Single Axle Heavy Duty Suspension Kit - Double Eye Springs # K71-403-00 will work great. As for getting clearance, have you thought about doing an over under conversion on your axles to gain more clearance? Check out the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 (this is for 5,200-7K axles). I attached a video that Kevin put together, he does an excellent job explaining how it all works.
