Very happy with the product and purchase. I ordered it to help with drop for a weight distribution hitch. My particular hitch when combined with the new shank gave me 8" of drop which was perfect for my needs. Other weight distribution hitches may measure different and everyone should do their due diligence. The 13" overall length was perfect for me as my hitch required that much. No dragging the ground or other issues. A little more than what I wanted to spend but well worth it. The 1500 lb rating is a little more than I need which makes it perfect for not having to worry and be stressed when towing. So proud of my purchase. It has made me confident and relaxed while towing. Thank You to all of you who make the product available.

Great! Still getting the job done
First and foremost I was so meaning to email you shortly after we got this receiver/hitch on, but I forgot. Second, you were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the details about this hitch, before we bought it, so we thank you for that!! And last but not least, we were so happy with it and it worked out perfect and was the perfect length!!! My husband is more than pleased.
Very nice piece. Just what I needed. I needed to drop my ball 3" on my Pro series weight distribution system and sway bar system going from my 2015 2500HD Silverado to my 2016 Ram 2500HD. I have never been disappointed in any thing I have purchased from ETRAILER.
I haven't towed the trailer yet but my old sway bars fit. got the height I needed. I was wondering why you don't leave a receipt in the box? I'll send you a picture when I get to the track.
Works perfect for my 14' Ram 2500. Truck stock and sits high in rear. This gives me enough drop go get my camper tongue down to 19" which is level for my Camper

Great product. Made with solid steel. Delivery was fast and was just the right amount of drop for my 2008 Ford F-350 with an 8" lift and 37" tires.
I needed a drop down shank for my 2019 Ford Ranger, which must also be compatible with my [hardware store]--Haul Master load leveling trailer hitch. etrailer spent quite a while helping me select the correct one. It arrived within a couple of days of placing the order. I installed it and it worked perfectly.

used it only once for a long haul. worked fine. have since sold it for about 12 of what I paid. overall a good hyitch, but quite pricy.
This one worked absolutely perfect.
Last year I traded my Silverado for a Yukon to tow my 21’ camper. The hitch tube was integrated into the Yukon bumper and those 20” wheels raised the tube height 7”. I purchased your 13” drop shank to level my hitch/camper connection but experienced trailer “sway” because of that long shank. I fabricated a set of “sway bars” to tame that movement. Now I can tow my camper safely. Thank you for making this long drop shank available for taller tow vehicles!
We regularly use etrailer for all our hitch/rv needs. The website is easy to use and is stocked with everything we have needed. We have been full time on the road for the last 18 months. We frequently off road with our 33 ft TT. This means we sometimes require replacement parts quickly. eTrailer has always had the part we needed and shipped quickly. If you have questions about the right sizing for your hitch/parts call customer service, they have been very helpful to us as well.
Have used with my 5500 gwr travel trailer. Works good but extremely heavy once the weight distributing head is attached. This unit is affordably priced but I would have paid more to get the same adjustability in HS Al alloy. Had to get all new hitches because the hitch height on my new tow vehicle is way way higher than the old one. Even though I measured carefully, I still was off by one adjustment hole after initial coupling of trailer due mostly to how much the rear did not settle on the tow. So good reason to buy an adjustable hitch unless you are completely familiar with your tow vehicle characteristics when trailer weight sits on the hitch, unless you do not care if your trailer sits level during towing.
The back of our travel trailer was too low to the ground hauling it with our Tahoe. The hitch we ordered corrected the issue and works great!

Excellent products, great prices, I always buy my trailering products from etrailer. Shipping is fast and I would recommend them to anyone. I have a lifted truck pulling a trailer, this adjustable drop-down hitch is heavy duty and exactly what I needed.
I needed a shank that would allow me to lower the weight distribution hitch I use on my Yukon. This shank was perfect. It allowed me to adjust the hitch until my horse trailer was level while attached to my Yukon.
The product was exactly as described looks well made and was what I needed. The best part was ordering from etrailer the first one that shipped was lost by UPS. But you guys didn't hesitate and sent me another one 3 day and I recieved it. I know the shipping isn't cheap on a heavy product like that but you didn't charge extra you have gained a new customer for all my trailer needs and would highly recommend you to anyone thanks.
HAve yet to install, but the part is rugged and was shipped very quickly by etrailer..So far so good

excellent built product, turned out to be too short for my needs..This is not the problem of the manufacturer
i switched from a 2014 Ram 1500 to a 2014 Ram 2500. the height difference did not work for my distribution set up on my travel trailer.
i needed about 6 inches of drop. this shank provided exactly what i needed and it worked well with the Blue Ox set up i had.
Just what I needed to drop the ball height on my new Ram 2500. The Reese weight distribution head bolted right up and the Airstream is sitting as level as can be. Very satisfied. Thanks, etrailer for great service and on time delivery.
Needed to replace the shank on my Reese dual cam hitch because my new truck was much higher. The Curt drop shank worker great. Since know one states the dimensions the drop length is 13.5 inches.
I am very satisfied with my purchase. Customer Service was very helpful and prompt in resolving an issue with my order of the equalizer weight shank. Thank you again for a great product. My travel trailer will now roll down the highway perfectly.
Shipped ahead of time and product was just as advertised. I will post pictures of my camper with leveling and anti sway hitch soon. Customer service was great--seems like a family owned business that actually believes in what it makes and wants all customers to be informed and satisfied.
Received product as described in a very timely fashion and look forward to putting it to use very soon! I ordered this to adapt my husky weight distribution hitch to fit onto my truck after I jacked it up.

This is awesome to hear, Timothy. I do have to say I agree that even though the weight capacity is more than what you need, does give that boost of confidence when towing. What kind of trailer are you towing? Anything fun?
