Recommended Weight Distribution Shank for Drop with Fastway e2 System

Question:
Thanks. Actually, the 20.5 is the top of the inside opening as you describe. But the 17" trailer measurement is the top of the coupler. So, I'm guessing the bottom is about 14". Given that, if I get the 600# round bar system, and use the FA92-02-4214 shank, I should be Ok. Do you sell the 600# round, without the shank, so I'm not paying for two shanks? Also, if I order a system and a ball, can you install hitch balls (as I don't have the tools to do it myself)? Or do I need to find a shop locally to do it?

Because the top of the receiver opening can have different size collars from hitch to hitch, we measure from the top of the inside opening to make sure it is consistent. I've attached an article to assist.
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion # FA92-00-0450 has a maximum rise from the ball platform of 6 inches, and maximum drop of 2 inches and adjustments 1-1/4 inches in between.
If the top of your receiver opening is 20.5 inches and the bottom of your coupler is 17 inches, then I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4214 which has up to a 5-1/2 inch drop.
