Features to know about

Tow Heavy Loads and Carry Gear at the Same Time: Dual 2" Receivers

The SuperHitch Original gives you two vertically stacked 2" receivers so you can tow a trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. It’s built for serious hauling with a 15,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 1,500-lb tongue weight, or up to 17,000 lbs GTW and 1,700 lbs TW when used with weight distribution. The dual design keeps your options open without sacrificing strength or stability.

Keep Full Towing Power Even with Extensions: Designed for SuperTruss System

When you need extra reach for a truck camper or specialty setup, this hitch is pre-drilled to work with TorkLift’s SuperTruss extensions. The strong connection between the SuperHitch and SuperTruss maintains high towing capacity even with long extensions—up to a 10,000-lb weight limit when used with weight distribution at 60" extension length. You can clear a bed-mounted camper and still tow heavy trailers safely.

Strong Build for Demanding Jobs: Heavy-Duty Steel Construction

Built from sturdy steel with high-penetration, dual-shield welds, this Class V hitch is made to handle tough conditions. Reinforced hitch pin holes prevent wear, while the black powder coat finish resists corrosion. Safety chain loops are built in, and the bolt-on installation means no welding is required. Two hitch pins and clips come included so it’s ready to use right out of the box.

Ready for Camper Tie-Downs and Weight Distribution Systems: Integrated Mounting Points

The SuperHitch Original is designed with the truck camper crowd in mind. It’s pre-drilled to accept TorkLift camper tie-downs (sold separately) and works directly with the TorkLift Everest weight distribution system (TLWD100?– sold separately). With the right setup, you can make full use of its top-end 17,000-lb towing capacity while keeping your camper stable and secure.

Love Love it , Nice to be able to bring our Camper and Side By Side with us Camping . Thanks so much !!!

by:

The gal that took my order over the phone was probably the nicest person I've talked to in awhile on ordering something. Very professional and personable. Thank you very much

by:

I am grateful for the help I received with my order and that the items came so quickly. Now I just have to wait for the outside temperature to warm up a little so I can get them installed. Thank you!!

by:

Love it. Now I need to make my truck a dually. Camper and trailer over load the rear tires

by:

This hitch fit my 2011 Ram 3500 fine. The original hitch had been removed to facilitate adding a Ranch Hand rear bumper. I am 64 yrs and was able to mount by myself using the one man mount instructions. It cleared the bumper fine and bolted up to my frame. I drilled 2 holes in the bumper bracket to mount the front straps because they didn't match up with anything.
I had previously mounted a Helwig swaybar and had to remove the frame mounts for it, and once the hitch was on the Helwig bolted up to it very nicely, a cleaner install.
The spare tire is a bear to get up in there now because of all the stuff around it now, but doable. I hadnt heard of Torklift until recently and am a fan of their products now!

by:

I wish I would've bought this hitch earlier than I did. It is worth every penny you pay for it, not only in safety, but peace of mind in knowing that what you are towing is as secure as it can be. I have a professional welder friend who helped me fabricate a hitch with a long extension so I could pull my boat behind a Dodge Ram 3500 with a camper on it. It showed signs of stress and wear so I installed the super hitch and after a year I am completely satisfied with the quality and dependability of this hitch.

by:

Fit like a glove and works better than expected

by:

The hitch is well made heavy built it what I was looking for

by:

Arrived quickly, appears to be the correct item!
Now I have a bunch of work to do!;-)

Good luck, Gary! Please let us know how your install goes!

by:

Both items work well as advertised although a little pricey but when you're stuck between a rock and a hard place you have to pay. Installation would be helped if the manuals have larger pictures and larger print for old people to read. I would definitely recommend this for people with a height and length situation like mine.

by:

Bought this for my Dodge Ram 2500 to pull 25’ boat to show in TN last year and have my truck camper on my truck. Worked way better than I expected. Also bought wiring harness. Very pleased.

by:

The hitch came in 2 boxes. There were no missing parts. I installed it using the 1 person instructions. The written instructions are good, the pictures are terrible. I would suggest watching the u-tube video before starting.
I took off the custom bumper, this made it much easier to install with everything wide open. Because I literally ripped off the factory bolted on unit, repairs needed to be made. This meant that the entire job took the entire weekend. I do not think This hitch will be easy to tear off the back of the truck considering it has 3 times the fasteners of the factory hitch. It looks good with the custom bumper as well.

Yes, it has been a year. Absolutely no issues. It has handled everything I have to tow with ease. I am pleased that the finish is still holding strong. The only NOT important issue is that I have a tendency to hit things with the lower of the 2 receivers when backing into parking spots. For me, the hitch was worth the investment.

  • Availability of 60" Extension for 2007 Ram 3500 With Truck Bed Camper Towing Boat
Hey Curtis, welcome back! With those measurements you're going to need a 60" extension to get out past the camper step. The only extension long enough is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers # TLE1560. The SuperTruss does require a TorkLift SuperHitch on your 2007 Ram 3500. If your truck has the factory hitch, you'll need the TorkLift SuperHitch # TLD1102. If you do not have the factory hitch, you'll need the # TLD1101 instead. Then to extend...

  • What Torklift SuperHitch and Extension do I Need for My 2008 Dodge Dually 3500 Super Cab?
Hello Mark, Sounds like quite the sweet set-up you are getting together! For your 2008 Dodge Dually 3500 with super cab you will need one of the following (I like to assume everyone has a hitch on their truck, but you never know): - WITH hitch # TLD1102-30 - WITHOUT hitch # TLD1101 For the extension you will want the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers - 42" Long # TLE1542. Most people need the 42" to accomplish what you are doing, if you happen...

  • Can I Use a Torklift Supertruss Without Using a TorkLift SuperHitch
Hey, Daniel! The TorkLift SuperTruss hitch extension's, like part # TLE1528, can only be used with the TorkLift SuperHitch. For your 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup you would need to pick up part # TLD1102 (if you have a 2500 and 3500 with a factory hitch) or part # TLD1101 (if you have a 2500 and 3500 without a factory hitch). We can't encourage or advise on modifying any of the parts that we sell. Any modifications would void any warranty in case of failure.

  • Trailer Hitch for an RV Built on a Workhorse Chassis
Workhorse is not affiliated with Ford though they were at one time related to GM and are now part of AMP. Regardless of who controls the Workhorse chassis division there are only universal type trailer hitches for them but no custom ones. The most versatile RV hitch is # 13703 which fits frame widths from 22 inches to 72 inches outside to outside. It fits box, C-channel, and I-Beam frames and it can be bolted or welded on (welding should be done by a professional welder). If you are...

  • How to Use the TorkLift SuperTruss on a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
In order to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1548 on your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 you will need to remove the factory hitch and install the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLD1101. There are no other options to use any of the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extensions on your Dodge Ram 3500. This hitch is only designed to fit a Dodge Ram 3500 from 1994-2002. Instead, I recommend using the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLD1101 if you do not have a factory hitch or part # TLD1102 if you do have a factory hitch. • Can You Use B&W Trailer Hitch with TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs on 2009 Dodge Ram
In regards to the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs, these can be used with either the factory trailer hitch or a TorkLift Trailer Hitch Receiver. That said, the rear tie downs are specific to the hitch so if you have a rear tie down designed for the factory hitch or none at all and want to switch this out for an aftermarket like the part # TLD1102 (with factory hitch) or part # TLD1101 (without factory hitch) then you'd need a new rear tie-down as well. Since none of our extenders are a viable option (either too short or not rated high enough for weight), your best option would be to use a ball mount with a long shank. Part # 325-GH-064 is rated for 21,000 lbs, fits a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, and has a total length of 12-1/2". If this can accommodate your truck camper then this is what I recommend using.
