Question:

The shank you referenced is the one that came with my system and the drop is OK. I need more length, not more drop so would this work? Curt Weight Distribution Shank 13" Long - 9-1/2" or 7-1/2" Drop - 1,500 lbs TW Item # C17124

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA94-00-0600 will allow you to use the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4214 to get the extra clearance you desire without compromising the capacity at all.

Sorry about my misunderstanding. Yes, the Curt Weight Distribution Shank 13" Long # C17124 will work well with your Fastway Weight Distribution System. This shank will give you 9 inches from the center of your hitch pin hole to the center of the mounting holes in the shank to attach the head assembly. If you need an additional inch, the Curt Weight Distribution Shank - 14" Long # C17122 is another option.
