  • How to Reset Combination of Master Lock Backpack Lock # 1547DCM
  • Here are the instructions on how to reset the combination on your backpack lock (which is pre-set at the factory to open to combination 0-0-0): 1. With dials at 0-0-0 (or combination the lock was previously set to), push in the shackle (open the lock fully) 2. With shackle pushed in, set your new combination 3. Release shackle and scramble wheels to lock 4. Be sure to record your NEW combination as you are the only one who knows it! The lock may only be reset when it is in the...

  • How Long are the EZ Grip Bungee Cords when Stretched Out
  • I went out to the warehouse and pulled EZ Grip Bungee Cord, 32 Inches, # 3031DAT, and the 24 inch model # 3030DAT, to measure them for you. The lengths listed are the unstretched lengths. When stretched out, each model can be as long as twice the original length. About 64 inches for # 3031DAT and 48 inches for # 3030DAT. I made a short video showing the elasticity of the bungee cords for you.

  • Recommended Wireless Backup Camera To Mount On Back of 5th Wheel
  • The backup camera I would recommend is the Master Lock Wireless Backup Camera and Hitch Alignment System, part # 4843DAT. I would recommend part # 4843DAT, because it has a longer range, up to 125 feet, if there are no objects in the way of the signal. To install part # 4843DAT, with the camera on the back of your fifth-wheel, you would need to install 4-Pole Hardwire Kit Including Circuit Tester, part # 18252. To install part # 18252 you would need to tap into the tail light wire using...

  • How To Prevent Trailer Theft Beyond Hitch and Coupler Locks
  • One easy way to prevent someone from removing the ball would be to use a ball mount that has the ball attached (welded) to the shank. That way you won't have to weld a ball to a shank that isn't meant for that type of modification. Some examples include # 45325 or something adjustable that locks like # DTALBM6600. A Wheel lock such as # RA-25 would also be a good idea. The trailer would not be able to be moved with a wheel lock like this on it. And the ball mount/ball may be enough...

  • Electric Winch Recommendation to Raise and Lower a Pop Up Camper Top
  • The Master Lock Electric Trailer Winch # 2953AT that you referenced only has a power load in function. So you would be able to raise the top of your camper but not be able to lower it in a controller manner. For a winch that can power in and out that would work better for you check out the part # 1220210. For pulley blocks you might also be interested in the part # SW2229A.

  • Backup Camera that Will Plug In Line with a 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 2005 Toyota Tundra
  • We actually have a backup camera that you can plug in line with the 7-Way trailer connector. Take a look at # HM50002. I have linked a video showing an installation for you. As you can see, it will just plug in line with the 7-Way and retain all the trailer connector functions. If your 7-Way on your 2005 Toyota Tundra is not a US car connector type that accepts the plugs then the wiring does have provisions for being hardwired in.

  • Back Up Camera Options for Backing Boat Trailer
  • Wireless back up cameras are not designed to withstand the the elements when installed on the license plate frame of a passenger vehicle, but they're not capable of being submerged. Repeated immersion in water will eventually damage the camera. The Master Lock Wireless Backup Camera System, part # 4843DAT would probably be the best option for you. The camera has a magnetic mounting surface that could be attached someplace on the trailer that will not be submerged. The camera is meant...

  • Combination Reset for Master Lock Safe Space Portable Storage Box with Combination Lock
  • In order to reset the combination on the Master Lock Safe Space Portable Storage Box # ML5900D, you will need access to the inside of the box. The reset lever is a small, light gray lever on the top left hand side of the combination dial. You will need to push the lever to the right while setting a new combination. I have attached a photo showing the location of this lever for you, as well as a product review video that may help. If the box is closed and the combination is forgotten,...

  • Recommended Rear-View Camera Solution to Assist Hitching Gooseneck Trailer
  • Although many of the camera systems we offer might be modified or altered in some way that would allow the camera to mount to the inside of the rear window glass, none of them are designed to mount that way directly out of the box. My best recommendation for a camera-type solution would be the Swift Hitch Portable Wireless Camera System, available with a 4-hour battery, part # 04928 or a 10-hour battery, as part # SH02DIGITAL. Both systems are rechargeable and the cameras can be temporarily...

  • Replacement Hitch Pin for Thule Bike Rack
  • Your Thule bike rack uses a threaded hitch bolt, both for security and to hold the shank of the bike right tight up against the side of the receiver tube to prevent the bike rack from wobbling around. Because it uses a proprietary threaded bolt, you unfortunately wouldn't be able to use the Master Lock # 1470DAT lock you mentioned as the threads would prevent the hitch pin from working. If you lost the threaded hitch bolt as well as the lock itself, you'd need part # THSTL2. If you're...

  • How to Reset the Combination on a Master Lock Gun Trigger Lock
  • If the Master Lock Gun Trigger Lock # 94DSPT is locked and you have forgotten the combination you will have to reset the combination. To change the combination you will need to set dials to combination (combination is preset to 0-0-0 by factory). With dials set to combination, move release lever to open, or up, position. Pull apart the two sides of the gun lock. Next, you will need to use a pen to press and hold the reset button that is on the left side of the lock and select a...

  • Coupler Lock With 1/4 Inch Diameter Pin Recommendation
  • For our hitch receivers, we offer hitch receiver locks that have either 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch diameter pins. Depending on what you intend to use the locking pin for we do have other options available. We carry locking coupler pins that may work for you. The first lock I recommend is the Master Lock Adjustable Trailer Coupler Lock, part # 2847DAT. This is a 1/4 inch diameter pin that has a keyed lock and is adjustable to fit lengths of 5/8 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch. Another coupler lock...

  • How to Correct Frozen Hitch Lock 1480DAT That Will Not Open
  • After a long period in place a lock mechanism can stick and make it tough to get the key in it, or to get the inserted key to turn. There are a few suggestions I can offer to you to get your lock # 1480DAT open. You can spray a bit of aerosol white lithium grease into the lock. Do not use powdered graphite as it will eventually harden. A small amount can also be applied to the key before it is inserted. The keys themselves sometimes will benefit from a bit of fine (500 grit) sandpaper...

  • Extra Long Locking Trailer Hitch Pin for 2015 Toyota Tundra
  • The factory installed hitch on the Tundra is wider than a typical 2 inch receiver, so a normal 2 inch hitch lock won't fit. We offer an extended length lock, part # RH5-XL. Multiple locks are available keyed alike, use the drop-down box on the product page. We don't carry a lock with the part number you mentioned, so I tried looking it up online and found no result. I'm not sure where you'd be able to get a longer pin for your particular lock.

When you release it will be set. To get the lever to release the passcode will have to be entered into the box. • Which Coupler Lock Set is Best for Use with Atwood Trailer Coupler 81911
  • The Atwood Trailer Coupler 81911 that you have on your A-frame trailer can be locked in two ways, by securing the latch and by blocking entry of a hitch ball. The latch mechanism on the top can be locked with an item like the Dead Bolt # 7690. (This latch lock is one of the two locks included in part # 7685, which is our reference for the CT Johnson part RHC32.) • Recommend a Backup Camera for 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Crew Cab Truck

The transmitter can hold up to the weather elements so it can be left in the trailer hitch, on the back of the tailgate, or anywhere you mount it. I have linked a video review of the Master Lock Wireless Backup Camera, # 4843DAT.

It's important that you keep pressure on the shackle as you're doing this. • Best Coupler Lock Options for a 2015 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer

The Master Lock Trailer Coupler Lock # ML389DAT is a great option because it has a bright red color to draw attention to the fact that there is a lock on the trailer.
