If your bracket spacing is off, simple fixes like spacers or bolt-on outriggers take care of odd widths so everything mounts square and feels solid.
Install is straightforward with basic tools. A floor jack helps you lift and align the steps while you bolt them up. If the entry feels springy, a step stabilizer can make the bottom step feel stiffer and more solid. If parts look similar but not identical, check construction details and confirm the bolt pattern before reusing components.
Yes, you can replace solid steps with Lippert pull-out steps. Check that your frame has or can accept pull-out step brackets. If the existing brackets differ, use spacers or install Lippert outriggers to match the pattern. Confirm entry height and choose the step count that feels comfortable for you and your passengers.
