• Where to Measure to Determine Correct Rise/Drop for Ball Mount
  Since there aren't any zero rise/drop ball mount options (shockingly) you might verify that your setup was measured in the right spots. You'd want to measure from the bottom of the coupler lip down to the ground when the trailer is level and then from the top of your hitch opening down to the ground. The part # D320 has a drop of 2 inches and comes with the tab needed for friction sway control. This probably would be close enough to what you'd need.

  Hi Joshua! I wasn't sure so I grabbed one of the Reese Sway-Control Brackets # RP26003 and Curt Forged Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches - 1/2" Rise - 2" Drop - 20,000 lbs # C45456 to check. Unfortunately, the ball mount was a little over 1/4" too wide, so it will not fit without modification. The ball mount also has a 1-1/4" hole for the shank of the ball and the sway-control bracket has a 1" hole, so that would also need to be widened for it to work.
