Hi Joshua!

I wasn't sure so I grabbed one of the Reese Sway-Control Brackets # RP26003 and Curt Forged Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches - 1/2" Rise - 2" Drop - 20,000 lbs # C45456 to check. Unfortunately, the ball mount was a little over 1/4" too wide, so it will not fit without modification. The ball mount also has a 1-1/4" hole for the shank of the ball and the sway-control bracket has a 1" hole, so that would also need to be widened for it to work.

Though not as nice and requiring welding to make it fit, I think the Curt Weld-On Sway Control Tab # C45822 might be the better option in your case.

Out of curiosity, what are you wanting to use this with? Like what kind of trailer, I mean. A weight distribution system would likely be a much better sway deterrent.

Hey Joshua, did you decide to try the weld-on sway control tab, or are you considering a different setup for your trailer? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others facing a similar situation.
