Question:
Looking for air bags for my 2018 Chevy 2500hd and I read through the articles but not sure which will work for me. My truck has a 6” lift. Would the first work? I pull a few different trailers - 20’ cargo at least once a week, two sea doos will be weekly during summer and heaviest being a 32’ camper approx 8-9k lbs. I don’t necessarily want the compressor just yet, just the easiest way to do it myself to improve my tow. Suggestions?

Hey Aubrey, I would recommend the Air Lift kit part # AL57338 that is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 25000 and then since you have a 6 inch lift you'd want the part # AL52460 to take up that extra space and allow the proper engagement of the bags. This comes with an inflation valve so you don't have to have a compressor installed at this time either.

Thanks Jameson. Three questions - y’all’s reviews show firestone being the best - air lift is better in my situation? Next I figured I’d have to have the airlift 7500 version so the 5000 version is sufficient here? Last but not least I see you have the spacer suggested. Is this better than the cradle AL59DQ? I had a friend suggest the cradle to keep the ride somewhat normal when not towing?
