The kit comes with 16 feet of air line so you will have plenty of line that will allow you to hide and protect the air lines themselves.

You will be able to adjust the air springs independently from each other to get a custom ride that will be smoother than a jounce style spring.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57338 and any other air spring will need at least 5 PSI to keep them in good operating condition. This prevents damaging vacuum pressure and premature wear and tear on the bags themselves. We do have the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88339, this will give you a little extra help if the bags are under inflated or busted. To avoid the issues you stated the best way would be to stay with a Jounce style suspension. They do have rougher rides but they are a "fit and forget" install with no adjustments required.
