Note: This dual-arm rack reduces the need for a bike frame adapter bar (sold separately) to mount a children's, women's, or alternative frame bicycle. However, to mount certain bikes or to keep your bike level on the rack, a bike adapter bar may be required. Most step-through bikes, dual-suspension bikes, and small children's bikes will require a bike adapter bar.
The Thule Passage offers an affordable, safe way to transport three bikes without a hitch. The Passage mounts to the rear of your vehicle with six integrated straps and Thule's patented Fit Dial system, which adjusts the rack base to ensure a snug fit.
The Passage includes cushioned anti-sway cradles with Thule's No-Sway Cage accessories to prevent bike-to-bike contact during transport. The anti-sway cradles also keep your bikes from making contact with the vehicle.

The rack is working out great. Weve used it to haul bikes cross-country highway driving and it is very stable and secure. Easier to fit two bikes on it versus three, but we have used it for three bikes with no real issues.

One year and still loving it!! This bike rack is still as sturdy and secure as it was on the day we got it. I saw complaints about it being too big for women’s bikes but we don’t have any problem with ours. I’ll place my son’s 16” bike on the rack closest to the car and put the larger bikes on the outside. After that, we’re on our way!

The bike rack is working out well most of our trips are fairly local within two hours, and the rack has performed very well. It was easy to figure out which model I needed at the e-trailer website and the delivery was prompt and I have had no problems.

According to the instructions, the fit dial should be set to 11, please check to ensure thats where your dial is set. Youll also want to be aware that the rear liftgate should NOT be opened or closed with the rack in place.

A year in - mounts to a 2015 Subaru Forester, we carry three bikes now that my youngest has upgraded to a big boy model, and were still going strong. No regrets on this purchase, just a lot of joy building great memories! As a single parent, I especially love how easy it is to mount, attachdetach our rides, and store when not in use.

Used on about 10 trips since I got it. Works really well. Glad I didnt overspend, but also didnt go for the economy version. The buckles did do some damage to the paint, so a softer surface on them maybe rubber spray coating may be worth looking into.

Thanks for the feedback, we do have a note on this page that does recommend an adapter bar for some styles of bike. We do also have an bike adapter bar listed as a related item.
