NOTE: This transmission pan cooler fits most 1982-1999 model 4L60Es. Some models may require a smaller transmission filter to get it to fit. It will not fit on all models.
Commonly used on vintage hot rods and race cars, Derale's pan coolers are designed to add a little extra cooling power to keep your vehicle's transmission operating at its best. Simple installation involves replacing the existing oil pan with the new Derale one, which, in addition to providing cooling power, also increases fluid capacity. The built-in turbulator tubes allow air to flow through, pulling the heat that has collected in the pan's surface and dissipating it into the surrounding environment.
