Derale Transmission Pan Cooler, # D14204, is designed for GM vehicles with 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions from 1982 to 1999 and we do not list an transmission pan cooler for the 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with 4L60 M-30 transmission. The issue you could run into is that the exhaust on the vehicle, or other components, could interfere with installation of the pan cooler.

What I recommend is to go with the most efficient and largest standard transmission cooler available that will fit in front of the radiator and air conditioning condenser on your 2000 GMC Sierra. The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, # D13504, is an excellent option, if there is space to mount it. I have included a link to a video showing a typical transmission cooler installation and a link to our FAQ article on transmission coolers for you.

You will also need a special fitting, # D13018, to complete the installation of this cooler on your truck.
