Recommended Transmission Fluid and Engine Oil Cooler for a 2013 Chevrolet Express Van 3500
Question:
2013 Chevrolet Express 3500 Extended Passenger Van w/Quigley 4x4 Conversion V8 6.0 liter motor If I mount an auxiliary cooler in front of the radiator won't that reduce cooling capacity of the radiator? One more thought ... what about the oil pan with the cooling tubs running through it, extended depth/capacity too?

I have exactly what you will need to keep both the engine oil and transmission fluid cool in your 2013 Chevrolet Express Van 3500 but a remote cooler will not be necessary. Instead, I recommend using the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902. As long as you have at least 17" wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep of space to mount the cooler behind your grille and in front of your radiator/condenser then it will work well for you. You can expect a drop in engine oil and transmission fluid temperature anywhere from 20-30 degrees fahrenheit while using this cooler.
The above kit comes with everything you will need for installation for the exception of the radiator adapter part # D13018. In the kit there are 5 engine oil filter thread adapters. If you can tell me what size engine you have I would be glad to let you know which one you will need to use on your Express Van. I have also attached the detailed written instructions as well as a sample install video for you to review.
