This winch features solid drum-gear construction, meaning the drum and the gear are made as 1 single piece. Unlike other winches that have a riveted drum and gear with space in between, this winch's solid construction provides no spaces that water or debris can get into. Since water can't get in, the risk of corrosion in between the drum and gear is eliminated, ensuring many years of worry-free operation.

As you can see I am using the winch as a hoist. After Ice Fishing season is over I will store my Ice hut and power auger on the platform and hoist it up and out of my way. So far it is working great. To test it out I placed 15 concrete blocks on it and lifted it with ease. I am really happy with it.

Got what I needed quickly and at a good price
Even with economy shipping, it arrived within a few days in good shape. Installation was straightforward and the quality seems to be better than the original equipment. In particular the ratcheting device on the original was always a bit confusing. This one works very well. This is the best price I found for this item. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend this seller.
I needed a boat winch that would work upside down. That is how my Carolina skiff trailer is set up. This winched worked great except I had to drill another hole in the winch bracket to make it fit the holes on my trailer. If I had measured the hole spacing and given it to etrailer I am sure they would have given me the exact fit. As it was it was not difficult to drill another hole
The winch is as expected except for one thing...I wish the ratchet pawl had a neutral position like my original one did. This allows the boat to be launched while still attached to the strap. This particular winch does not have this feature and it wasn't listed as having only a two-position pawl.
Arrived quickly and in good condition. Already mounted in place of a worn out one, hope to get many years of use from it. Thanks for the great service.

Easy to install, worked flawlessly and made pulling the boat onto the trailer so much easier.
Very happy with this product. Originally I had bought an equivalent model from tractor supply. After a week the cogs had pretty much stripped out. So, I stumbled upon this site and bought a winch from them. This winch gets used heavily on an almost daily basis and I have had no problems at all. I would buy from these guys any time!
excellent service as usual ,its the first place I go for all my trailer needs.
The winch was easy to install. Used existing holes to bolt the winch onto trailer. Yesterday we launch the boat using the new winch, no problem easy to use.
I put the winch on a Round swing frame. I am using it to pick up the front of a lawn mower so I can work on it or clean deck or to change blades/work on it. It does the job great I could not have want any more out of it. Thanks for the product.

Was what i needed.
The winch arrived quickly as was as described. Dropped right into the bolt holes from the rusty and starting to slip worn out winch I was replacing. Remember it does not come with a strap!
Bought multiple to construct purple martin houses. (Winching down a ~200lb bird house 15ft). So far they have preformed as described. Plan on ordering more.

Like to see a little better corrosion resistance on the finish but I am happy with it. It works. The previous one lasted 10 years....not bad for salt water.
