Recommended Hitch for a 2025 Toyota Corolla LE

Updated 07/25/2026 | Published 07/22/2026

Question:

I am wondering if my trailer hitch from my 2013 Toyota Corolla LE is the same that would go on a 2025 Toyota Corolla LE. Thank you for your help and knowledge.

Unfortunately it will not Bill but congrats on the car! There's been two generation changes with big redesigns on the Corolla so the older hitch isn't going to be transferable.

To add a hitch to your 2025 Toyota Corolla LE, I recommend the Curt item # C34UR. This hitch is custom fit and comes with all the hardware you'll need to get it installed. It's a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver that has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight. It'll work great for a bike rack or cargo carrier and pulling a small trailer.

We actually install the Curt item # C34UR hitch on a 2025 Corolla recently. I attached a couple pictures below along with an installation video we made. This hitch looks great when installed. It's really well hidden below your rear bumper.

If you plan on towing a trailer, you'll also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C26CR. This is a 4-way connector that controls the lighting functions on trailers. It can also be used to add lights to a bike rack or cargo carrier.

What do you plan on using your new hitch for and how are you liking your Corolla upgrade?

Thank you very much for your reply. The trail hitch would mainly be used to put on a bike rack to carry a couple bikes at a time.

@WilliamH You're welcome! Do you already have a bike rack you're planning on using? If you'd like a recommendation for one, I would just need to know what type of bikes you have.

I had a 2013 Corolla which was super simple to attach. I don’t know about your 2025 but the hitch I bought for my 2026 Toyota Corolla hybrid was not fun to install. Drilling holes and cutting the under carriage cover was no fun. I bought the hitch here. My second one and it was great for carrying my Ebike. I bought an adapter/riser to go from 1 1/4 yo 2inch to take my bike rack. And to keep it a couple inches higher of the street. The rack was great once installed. My car didn’t have pre installed threads like the 2013. Good luck
