Does it have to go on carpeted bunks or can it go on the treated lumber directly?

Hey Lisa. The Tie Down Bunk Slicks item # TD39FR do not require carpet. You can attach them to the treated lumber directly.

The Tie Down Bunk Slicks item # TD39FR come in a 8-pack and measure 17" long 1-3/4" wide. They're made of PVC and come with installation hardware.

We also have the 16" Long x 3" Wide Tie Down Bunk Slicks item # TD59FR if you want some wider coverage on your bunks. These come in a 10-pack and can also be attached directly to the lumber without carpet.
