How To Determine Fit of the 3,200 Lb 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch

Question:
I presently have a Phoenix bass boat riding on a Marine Master trailer. It has a 1400lb winch now and I would like to replace it with a 3200lb. My question is the mounting bolt hole pattern the same, will it bolt right up ? I dont want to have to do any cutting and welding.

The 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch part # 315-W3200D is an excellent upgraded 3,200 lb winch for a boat trailer. In regards to mounting, not all winches use the same pattern so you'd need to compare the dimensions in the photo below to what you have now. I would not think any welding or cutting would be required but worse case you may need to drill a few holes.
