Question:

Hi, Looking for a replacement taillight for shorelandr pwc1000L trailer. The original oem part number is 51100113 left light. do you have the replacement light that would work? I may also want the right one to replace part number 51100114 since they seem to go out in pairs. Thanks

The Optronics Tall Rectangle Submersible LED Trailer Tail Light, part # STL56RB, should work on your Shoreland'r trailer. The same light for the left side of the trailer is the Optronics Submersible LED Trailer Tail Light, part # STL57RB. We have gotten back many reviews of these lights working just fine on Shoreland'r trailers.

I will give you the dimensions of the lights so you can make sure they will fit your trailer. The light is 6-1/16 inches long x 3-5/8 inches wide x 2-1/4 inches deep. They have two slots on the back of the light, 2 inches apart, for mounting on the trailer. This unit also grounds through a ground strap, and if your current trailer grounds through the mounting hardware you would need to run the ground strap to a clean metal surface on the trailer frame. You could use self tapping screws if needed.

For self tappers you can use part # 101131802 and ring terminals # 44-5310A.

To waterproof the connections you can use Liquid Electrical Tape # SWC50122. This will help prevent shorts.
