Not Just Another Boat Trailer Jack

It's sturdy, durable, and rustproof, making the Fulton F2 Series trailer jack a fantastic choice for any boat owner, especially if you live along the coastline.

Fulton F2 trailer jack stowed parallel to a trailer frame tongue

With its high-quality, anodized finish, it will maintain its sleek, fresh-out-of-the-box look over time. And, because it's made from aluminum, it weighs less and looks better than all those other trailer jacks made from industrial-looking, heavy-gauge steel.

Latch Keeps Handle Safely Stowed While Traveling

It can be pretty frustrating to have your jack handle hanging down while you tow. Some folks like to use something like a bungee cord to fasten the handle to their trailer frame to keep it secured. But when you have a boat that's as classy as yours, you don't want some jerry-rigged contraption messing up the look of your trailer.

A close-up shot shows the handle latch on the Fulton F2 jack flipped up

This jack has a simple, convenient, and elegant solution for this annoying problem - a handle latch. Just flip it in place when you're ready to tow, and the handle won't budge.

Comfortable and Easy to Use

Rather than grabbing a raw steel J-bolt each time you swing your jack up or down, wouldn't you like something a little easier to grip and use? The folks at Fulton thought you might.

A side view shot of the Fulton F2 jack shows the plastic pull-pin and rubber grip

That's why the F2 jack has a T-shaped pull-pin that you can actually get your fingers around. It still lets you swivel the jack up and down, but it just plain feels better to use.

And if you think that sounds nice, wait until you get ahold of the texturized, soft-touch grip on the sidewind handle. Not only is it really comfortable to use, but it's designed to keep you from losing your grip when cranking the jack in the rain or after you've drenched your hand in lake water. Other hard, plastic handles can't even begin to compare.

How to Determine the Lift Capacity You Need in a Jack

A trailer jack lifts your trailer high enough at the tongue to allow you to couple it with your vehicle. Usually, your tongue weight is about 10-15% of your gross trailer weight (GTW). For example, a 10,000-lb trailer has a tongue weight of 1,000 lbs to 1,500 lbs. To raise the tongue of a trailer this size, you'd need a jack that can handle a static load of no less than 1,500 lbs. And, yes, it's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time fishing.

Product choices were excellent! I picked this one, with weld on plate because after carefull consideration, it was the best choice for me.
Shipping was extremely fast, I expected a week or two, but recieved it in three days without paying for expedited shipping.
Onced recieved, I had mounting plate welded to an existing mounting braket, then I painted the steel mounting plate. I then installed them to my trailer and then monted jack.
The final product and job came out perfect and I can now jack trailer and boat with much greater ease.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Buy from e-Trailer, they provide great service!
Notice the obvious replaced jack.

Thanks for the followup, George. So far, the jack is working great.

by:

This was a replacement for the factory installed same jack. That one was very hard to crank and always stiff. New jack replacement was easy. Got three years out of last one. Hoping for the cost I get more out of this one. Good so far. Much easier to crank. Thanks

Sorry to report that I am already experiencing trouble with this product. The crank handle won’t stay in stowed position and is very hard to turn when deployed and raising boat

by:

I think you did a horrible job packing this Jack up before you shipped it to me. It’s completely scratched. It was out of the packaging thrown in a bulk pack box with the other items. The reason I chose this Jack is because it was top-of-the-line. It was finished beautifully and considered the ultimate quality and in no way did your packaging reflect that.

I am so sorry to hear this, Timothy! Let me look into this for you.

by:

This trailer jack is amazing. The only down side is that while it is a "Weld-On" the mounting plate is steel unlike the rest of the unit which is aluminum. This requires an aluminum plate to be fabricated when welding to an aluminum tongue.

by:

I purchased this as a replacement for the trailer jack on my boat trailer. I was impressed with service provided by the etrailer customer service representative (George), who contacted when the product was shipped. The trailer jack is and excellent product and I would purchase from etrailer again.

by:

Called to place an order after memorial day weekend I was able to receive my product in two days. I have had this jack before on my last boat and wanted it again for my new boat even though my current jack was in good shape. It just works that much better. High-quality and performs almost effortlessly. Excellent service on the phone when I placed the order.

by:

The first order was damaged when received but etrailer replaced both jacks very quickly.
The new jacks received jacks are well built/solid and work great.

by:

I have owned the Fulton jack before. It worked very well.....and I bought another trailer, so I wanted the same quality product. Also, service was excellent. I received immediate notification that my order was accepted and the product arrived in just a few short days. Completely satisfied and would use etrailer again.

Its a good jack it works well. I have it on the tongue of a Nitro Z9 bass boat that has a total weight of about 5000lbs loaded. I have the maneuver the boat to get it partially sideways to fit inside the garage. My only complaint is that it is hard to get the wheel to change directions when I need to the boat to roll other than straight forward or backwards. If the trailer was still attached to the trailer hitch, then it would be no problem, but I have to unhook it and maneuver it by hand. Great jack though. I think it does everything its supposed to do.

by:

OEM on my 2016 boat trailer, replacement took a few minutes.

by:

Fast shipping excellent service

by:

Great product heavy duty jack thanks

by:

Heavy duty and easy to install!

Great Customer Service arrived on time. Thanks George!

  • Recommended Maine Trailer Jack for a 2006 Mastercraft X-Star
I have the perfect replacement trailer jack for your 2006 Mastercraft X-Star boat trailer. For this, I recommend using the Fulton F2 Swing-Up, Wide-Track Trailer Jack part # F1413050334. It has a 1,600 lb. capacity and can raise your boat trailer up to 8". As long as your trailer's tongue does not weigh more than 1,600 lbs. then this jack will work well for you. Yes. The bolt patterns that were referred to in the videos are actually the same and in reality the .06" is a negligible difference that falls within a reasonable margin of error; I believe that on the # F1413050334 measurements were performed with a calipers where the measurement on the # F1413020134 were performed with a tape measure/ruler. Hey Terril. It sounds like your Fulton F2 Trailer Jack item # F1413050334 has gotten debris in it or is broken. There is not a wear plate and it is internally lubricated but that's the gearbox which controls the up and down function. The wheel rotating and swiveling functions are controlled by separate bolts. I recommend cleaning out the jack wheel and spraying it down with a lubricant like WD-40 to loosen up any build up and get those joints moving.
