Question:

I am wanting to put this jack on a boat trailer for an 18 foot Lund boat. The trailer I have is 4 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide. Will this jack work for me? The description says 3 x 5 inches . If not, what jack do I need. I can send a pic if you need.

Yes, the Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack, # F1413050334, will work for you. I spoke with my contact at Fulton and this jack mounts to your boat trailer with a welding plate that measures approximately 3 inches by 5 inches. Since the plate will be welded on, your trailer frame does not have to have these exact dimensions. As shown in the instructions, this plate can be welded on vertically or horizontally. Fulton does state that welding should be done by a certified welder. Once the plate is welded in place, the jack mounts to the plate with the included bolts and washers.

To keep your jack from moving, I recommend using the Fulton Wheel Wedge Kit, # F500133.
