Will Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack # F1413050334 Fit 4 Inch Channel

Question:

hello my question is Im interested in the part # shown with weld on base and my ranger trailer has 4 inch channel will this one work ? and if it was possible i was going to mount it a diff way actually drill 4 mounting holes inside the mounting weld on base bolt it on instead of weld looks better dont like the u bolt mount thanks

The Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack # F1413050334 that you referenced will work well on your Ranger trailer's 4 inch tall channel. I have attached an image a customer sent in of this jack mounted to a channel frame similar to what you described that you can take a look at. The weld-on bracket is included.

This jack was designed so that the bracket is welded to the trailer frame and the jack mounts to the bracket. I can't say for certain that mounting the bracket like what you described will work and also maintain the jack's 1,600 pound weight rating because it simply hasn't been tested in this manner. Because of this I do recommend having a certified professional weld the included bracket to your 4 inch channel.
