2023 Kia Telluride
My installation was on a 2023 Telluride. Everything went to plan following the instructional video and included paperwork except for the passenger side, rear most outward facing bolt. There is about a 1/8 inch gap between the hitch and the frame of the car. I called etrailer, pressed 3, and talked with a representative who explained the steel of the hitch is intentionally somewhat mailable, and that the hitch probably got a little bent during shipping. He stated this was okay as long as the bolt and nut were torqued to spec, which they were (79 foot-pounds). The representative mentioned I could try to remove the hitch and bend this portion back into place with a few different techniques, but it was already on the car, he said it was safe, and I didn't feel like removing it. There were two items that were also different from the instructions. First, the plastic nuts on the panel covering the hitch electronics were not traditional nuts, but instead plastic nuts that push/pull on/off. Trying to rotate them off didn't do anything. Second, the measurements for cutting the bumper panel for the hitch, as others mentioned, were incorrect. 8.75" from each side and 3" up worked as someone else posted (thank you). You could go a little tighter if you wanted on the sides of the cut but not on the top, 3" almost touches. I'm going to check that questionable bolt after some towing, and if possible I'll update this review.

Instructions were simple which made it easy to install. Looks good on my Telluride. Has good ground clearance on my steep driveway.

Fit and finish is exxcellent. slapped it on my 2020 Telluride in the driveway after dinner. the only thing i would have liked is if the supplied body bolts had a little bit of thread cutting built in. My truck has two winters on it already so the threaded inserts in the frame were Tough to get the bolts started. Knowing beforehand what the thread pitch was or having self cleaning threads to get the body bolts started would make the job a lot easier. I wish i had a thread tap to clean out the rusty frame threads. its a fine thread metric bolt. Your installation videos made the whole job easy.
love it. My boys are exited for being able to Haul toys with the new rig.

2023 Kia Telluride
DIY install was easy (make sure you have a torque wrench!) and etrailer videos showed all the steps to get the job done. Took about 3 hours (I always measure more than once) but totally worth it. Fits perfectly on 2023 Telluride EX, great condition, arrived within 2 days of ordering! NO COMPLAINTS, would buy again 100%! Save over $300 on install labor costs at uHaul. Just did a 500+ mile trip with a bike rack fully loaded with 4 bikes, and the hitch worked like a charm.

The hitch fit was excellent on our '22 Telluride. It's possible for one man to do the job if a support, like a Jack is attached to one one side while the other side is attached. It's heavy duty and not a light weight, so at 70 years old I enlisted my brother to be " the Jack!" Installation went smoothly except for one caveat; there is a heat shield on the passenger side that the mounting washer won't go by without grinding the washer or removing the heat shield, then reinstalling the shield after the washer and bolt are in. Other than that, very easy job. Start to finish, including one beer , was 1 hour. I'll be ordering the wiring harness next. Good hitch, goid company! Thanks!

2022 Kia Telluride
Fits on my 2023 Telluride SX-P XPro. Obviously, I needed to change the cutout dimensions on the trim piece. For me, what worked best was 8.75" from each edge and 3" up from the bottom. See the photo for more information. Outside of the trim piece difference, there is no installation differences between this or the 2022. Note that wiring is not yet solved for the 2023's as of 12/29/2022.

Finally finished install. It only took me 5 hours, but that was probably because I didn't jack the car up, worked by myself (and extra hand would be helpful), and squeezed myself underneath the car. The guide where to cut the bumper wasn't really correct for me, but after temporarily mounting with supports I was able to get a reasonable cutout, and still had to trim more. Fortunately, a larger cutout really isn't that noticeable. Torquing the bolts to specifications is challenging, especially for the ones over the muffler. The use of silicon spray for the muffler rubber-mount is a GOOD idea and made that part of the job easier. Installed on 2023 Kia Telluride, and it appears to fit.

Excellent trailer hitch that is equal to or better than the Curt hitches I have punched for all my past vehicles. I agree with the ettrailer videos that measuring for the cutout in the Telluride bumper is tricky and despite measuring and test fitting, it was slightly off. Mild modification was needed and is not visible unless I crawl under the vehicle. I love the matte black finish which makes the hitch hardly noticeable. Excellent trailer hitch!

Very well engineered...Fit was perfect as well as finish on the hitch.....The measurments provided in the instructions to trim the cover are off for the 2023,I would suggest using 8-3/4 inches from each side of the cover...Thats what mine came out too.....Now whats the hold up on a wiring harness????That should be easy for aftermarket to do yet????NOTHING!!!!

You can definitely cover those blows with some rust-oleum type of paint to prevent any corrosion.

The trailer hitch was not difficult to install on my Telluride and has functioned flawlessly while using it to tow my 8'x12' utility trailer while hauling estimated 500lb to 1000lb loads. I recommend this receiver!

Easily installed on a 2021 Kia Telluride. The etrailer videos describe it all accurately. I've towed a 3,500 lb camper trailer with a Blu Ox weight distribution hitch several thousand miles now and everything works great and money well spent.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the measurements you provide to cut out the plastics trim on a 2023 KIA Telluride is wrong. It would be extremely helpful if you came up with accurate measurements and included them in the instructions. The hitch is heavy and hard to hold in place while someone marks the trim piece. But as for the quality of the hitch itself I give it 5 stars!

The hitch seems to be very well made and fits my 2023 Telluride well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the instructions have the wrong placement for the cutout of the plastic below the bumper. An online instructional made me aware of this, but it's a real hassle to try to get the hitch in place and then mark where to cut. The instructions should be updated with the correct measurements for where the cutout needs to be.

2021 Kia Telluride
So far so good. Install really wasn't that hard, the videos and instructions made it much easier. Definitely grab some silicone spray for the exhaust, and those couple bolts over the exhaust are tough to reach. All in all, I am pleased! Stoked to take the bikes out!

2023 Kia Telluride
Seems well made, only complaint is it was about 3\8 of an inch short of reaching the frame members it bolts too on my 2023 Kia telluride. I had to use a stack of washers on the 2 bolts between it and the frame on one side to be able to tighten the bolts with no gap and keep the reciever centered on the vehicle.
I was surprised at this as there should not be any variation in the distance of those frame rails it bolts too on the telluride and this hitch was specifically advertised as fitting the 2023 telluride.
Hopefully aftermarket plug n play trailer plug harnesses will be available soon but we mainly got this with the intention of using it with bike and mobility cart carriers which don't require lights.

- Is It Normal To Have A Small Gap Between The Flange And The Frame On The e45ZR?While ideally, the flange would be flush against the frame, this does not look like anything out of the ordinary. These hitches are made of a mild flex steel and are designed to bend. Looking at the structure of this hitch, it is likely that we do have a very slight bend somewhere. While there is not a plug and play harness available you can use a hardwire harness to add on a four flat connector. I recommend part # 119147KIT from Tekonsha as they provide an great harness and it comes with a one year warranty. You can check back mid to late summer to see if a plug and play has been released.
