Trailer Hitch & Wiring For 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro

Question:

Im looking for a kia telluride hitch and harness. 2024 SX Prestige X-Pro 1 car is rated for 5500lbs. Do you have a hitch that handles that rating looks like all i see are 5000 2 For the SX Prestige X-Pro with LED taillights, what harness is recommended? Ideally 7 pin

Hi Artie,

So there isn't a trailer hitch with a standard towing capacity above 5,000 lbs for your 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro. There is a trailer hitch that jumps to a 6,000 lb towing capacity when you use a weight distribution hitch there is; for that you would use the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e45ZR.

Then for the wiring, what you need for your SX model is the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C29ZV.

To add a 7-way you'd need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. You will first install the 4-flat, which will activate your trailer's lighting functions, and you'll then plug that into the 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7, which also gives you the wiring, circuit breakers, and rest of the hardware needed for installation.
