Hi Lisa; I'm assuming you have a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver like the # e45ZR on your 2024 Telluride. Cargo carriers can vary depending on what you want to do exactly but for a good all around option I recommend the Curt # C18152.
This carrier is 60" long x 24" wide with a 500 lb weight capacity. I like having the side rails since they help keep everything in place and work as tie-down points. It also has a 2-1/2" built-in rise to make sure you have plenty of ground clearance.
