Does Rear Fascia of 2024 Kia Telluride Need to be Trimmed for Hitch Install
Updated 10/27/2025 | Published 03/03/2025 >
Question:
I am going to follow the advice found in in your QandA section and mount the e45ZR hitch and the Curt T-connector for my 2024 Telluride. My question is this do I have to trim the panel on the rear or does the receiver go under the panel?

Hey Tony, to install the etrailer hitch part # e45ZR you do have to trim the lower fascia. This is the case for all hitches that fit your vehicle because otherwise the hitch would have to hang really low and be recessed quite a bit under the rear of the vehicle.

Hey Tony, how did the fascia trimming go when you mounted the hitch on your Telluride? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same setup.
