When heavy gear or a trailer pushes down the rear end, handling and braking can feel off. The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support to keep your vehicle level and balanced. They fit inside your rear coil springs and work with your existing suspension to reduce squat, improve steering response, and maintain headlight aim when the weight is on.
Not every load is the same, so your suspension shouldn’t be either. You can fine-tune the air pressure between 5 psi and 35 psi for a comfortable unloaded ride or a firm, stable setup when hauling. Inflate each spring independently with dual air lines to even out off-center loads. It’s an easy way to dial in just the right support for whatever you’re carrying.
These air springs are made from tough molded polyurethane that stands up to daily hauling and towing without cracking or leaking. They absorb road shock and reduce sway so the ride stays smooth and controlled even on uneven roads or long highway runs. Durable materials mean less stress on your OEM suspension and tires over time.
Adding air support doesn’t have to be complicated. The Air Lift 1000 kit installs right inside your rear coil springs with no frame drilling required. It includes two air springs, two heat shields, tubing, Schrader valves, and all necessary hardware. Manual inflation valves can mount on your bumper or wherever access is easiest, making adjustments quick before you tow or load up again.
Whether you’re pulling a small trailer or carrying tools and supplies in the back, these helper springs keep the rear end from bottoming out and help distribute weight evenly across all four tires. With steady support at any pressure setting, you get consistent handling and confidence every time you hit the road loaded or empty.

Well, after going back and forth - basically it comes down to - 60 day drive warranty doesnt compute. So after spending $300 on install, now Im expected to spend another $300-$400 to have them removed to return them, oh and pay for return. So roughly $800 to get back $130. Ill chalk this up to understanding that if a product doesnt work out in any manner. To remove these, you have to take the rearend of the car off - shocks and springs - then try to get the bags out of a much smaller ending without damaging otherwise youll not refund. Basically no support, other than a were sorry.

So far the air bags are still holding air . It does help with keeping the rear end of my Sorento from bouncing around when pulling my camper.

So far the air bags are still holding up well. no leaks in the air lines. The only issue was the valve stem came lose a bit and air leaked out , but a simple tightening of the valve stem with a valve stem tool and all has been good since.
