Updates and shipping time was great. Delivery from UPS came a little bang up and needed to touch up some sports on the hitch. Did a wright up on the install on the BZ forum, not sure if its ok to post on here.
Good quality hitch. Took me about two hours to install on my 2023 Toyota BZ4X, removing the plastic from underneath the car (and reinstalling it) took the most time. The required grinding also took about 25 minutes mostly because I didn't have a great metal grinding bit for my Dremel.
The downside of this hitch compared to the Curt is that it sits a little lower than it needs to. They should have made the sleeve an inch higher to provide more ground clearance, and it still would have fit fine. The Curt hitch photos look like it sits at a better height than this one, but I wanted to be able to use it for towing as well as bike racks, so I went with this. It should fit exactly the same for a Solterra.
The fit was perfect. Excellent quality of the hitch. Only improvement I can see would be an improvement on the installation instruction, specifically how to take the trim off. I encountered some fasteners I had never seen before and would have appreciated more detailed info on their removal.
