I dont understand why you need the locking plate DM6025 with a mor/ryde pin box when the original side capture plates locks the same plate?

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate # DM6025 has a wedge type mechanism that fits to the head of the Demco Hijacker which prevents it from pivoting as the vehicle makes tight turns. Normally the Hijacker clamps to the side of the pin box which is not recommended with the Mor-Ryde pin boxes so this adapter allows you to get around that.
