GREAT BUYOverall great buy. One issue with install on a Jeep Liberty you have to remove a factory bolt inorder to install the hitch. The problem is this one bolt is lock sold in there. I had to bring the truck to a service station to have them remove the bolt so I could install the hitch. Other than that the hitch is great.
The timely manner which our hitch was delivered was tremendous. The service and action that was taken on my order was like none other I've ever received.
The directions and installation was a breeze and done in no time. I would definitely recommend etrailer for your needs.
2008 Jeep liberty, Received product fast, Fit in just the way the video shows, An impact driver should be used but I don't have one. I used hand tools (Breaker bar and socket) I suggest to use a better cleaner than WD40 (That's what I had) Took 2 hrs to clean and chase the threads and 10 Minutes to install.
I also bought the wiring (118554), but it was raining and that's another day. Video looks like it covers the bases.
The folks at etrailer are very frendly, helpfull and knowlegable about their products. The instructions that come with the hitch and wire harness made the install very simple and were easy to follow. Ive never seen faster shipping, made me wonder if the warehouse was around the corner. I was very satisfied with the entire transaction from order to install and would do it again.

Very beefy more heavy duty than the last one I put on my other Jeep everything fit with no problems easy to install;shipping was quick
I am very pleased with the hitch I purchased. The web site was clear and descriptive. The prices were shockingly low compared to auto parts stores. I priced the same hitch at Napa it was a lower grade model for 2.5 times the price of etrailers. I need to recommend etrailer to the auto parts store, we waited 3 weeks still no hitch so we cancelled and found etrailer. The box nor the product was damaged upon delivery. I would highly highly recommend etrailer to anyone. etrailer had my hitch to me in 3 days!! The hitch is heavy duty and solid!! It'll be a hitch to haul our trailer for everyday use and hauling camping gear, which will keep our jeep from being packed solid and on long trips it's very uncomfortable but with the hitch with our trailer hooked to it we'll have room to stretch, also the dogs will be glad to have the back seat!!
I thought the product is good. It only took about 10 minutes to install. It is great that it is 1 piece. The product looks good on the vehicle. We will be using it light duty to start with. Thanks for everything.
I order a trailer hitch receiver for my 2009 Jeep Liberty plus a swagman bicycle rack on June 12 and they arrived before noon on June 14. Hitch worked great easy to install.No complaints what so ever
Easy to install, all holes lined up well. Works great, solid. Only two downs: sticks out a bit from the bumper and I hit my legs a few times before getting used to it, and the paint seems it won't last that long here in New Hampshire. Still highly recommended.
I’ve now owned this hitch for an entire year and I am extremely pleased with it. The instructions for the installation made it very easy to install. It fit my 2010 Jeep Liberty perfectly and I haven’t had any problems with it. It has made towing my camper across the country easier than I expected. I would recommend this hitch to anyone considering it.

This is great in so many ways. From bike attachments to trailer/camper towing, this hitch is solid.
I installed it by myself —with the help of a few floor jacks— in about 30 minutes, but having a second pair of hands will cut the time in half.

Excellent.. I use it on my jeep to pull my patio boat.
This was a very fast and easy addition to my Jeep. I completed this project in less than 10 minutes alone. I can tell a high quality product when I see one. Nicely done welds. Can’t wait use it this week.
The Draw-Tite hitch was exactly as described. The quality of finish is exceptional and installation easy. Just one note an installing it on a 2012 Jeep Liberty. If your Jeep came with a factory installed tow hook on the back both the tow hook and mounting bracket for the tow hook must be removed and remain off. This is not a big deal since I believe the hitch is sturdy enough to be used as an attachment point instead of the tow hook.
This trailer hitch purchased from "etrailer" is a quality product. And the installation was easy, but took a little longer to install than expected. The instruction was most helpful, and installing trailer hitch could not be accomplished without this help.
I followed the insulation instructions [online] to installed my wire harness kit. 30 minutes later I was done. I also installed a Draw-Tite receiver hitch. Total install time for both units was just over an hour. Would recommend to a friend.
Well designed with the use of quality materials. Will performing well in its intended use of light towing and hitch mounted carry platforms. Installation was easy and without a hitch..showing the extent of the design work.
I bought a class 3 hitch for my Jeep Liberty. It went on with no problem due to the hitch and mounting hardware. I suggest that you follow the instructions and thoroughly clean the threads or you will have problems.

Product arrived in expected time frame.Directions were straight forward,took approx 1hr-1.25 to complete hitch install and wiring.Biggest thing is to take the time to run a tap into the holes your going to use .*(makes the process go so much smoother.) wiring pretty much plug and play.**
A little expensive but well worth it.
