The 2008 and the 2010 Jeep Liberty are of the second generation, so the hitch from your 2008 will fit the 2010 model. Keep in mind that the installation hardware is meant to only be used once, so to install the hitch on your 2010 Liberty, you'll want all new hardware. We offer replacement hitch installation hardware as part # RHK. On the product page, you'll type in the part number of your hitch, and then from the drop down menu, you'll choose the name of the hitch manufacturer.
The 2010 and the 2008 model also use the same trailer wiring harness, part # 118554.
If you click the provided links, you can see install videos for the Curt and Draw-Tite/Hidden Hitch and the Tow Ready trailer wiring harness.
