The MaxxTow 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier w/ 48" Long Ramp MT70106 can hold your 250 pound scooter on your 2012 Jeep Liberty. As far as dimensions, the interior measurements of the Wheelchair Carrier are 48 inches long x 28 inches wide x 5 inches deep. As long as your scooter fits within these dimensions, you are good to go.
If you need fastening straps for transporting your scooter, I recommend the Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps w/ Push Button Releases # EM34420. The ratchet mechanisms make it easy to tighten down straps and maintain tension on straps to make sure that your scooter is secure on the carrier.
If you need a hitch for your 2012 Jeep Liberty, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75578. The Draw-Tite receiver involves an easy bolt-on installation, and the hitch comes with all the hardware needed.
