Today we're going to be taking a look at the Tow Ready Grill and Guard Coupler Lock. We've got two sizes available. The 2" is part number 63228; the 2-5/16" is part number 63227. These trailer coupler locks are great for securing your unattended trailer, preventing anybody from being able to hook up to them. They offer a gorilla guard design, which as you can see is a nice, heavy-duty lip, with structural supports all the way around our lock to prevent any kind of tampering. It has a single action, cylinder style key. Push in, a quarter turn out.
Key is removable. To attach it to your trailer we simply bring it onto our coupler, push up on the lock. As you can see that's all there is to it. Our trailer is secure, we can leave it for a while and don't have to worry about anybody hooking up to it and it getting taken from us. Now that we've gone over the details and you've seen how it works, that will complete today's look at the Tow Ready Gorilla Guard Coupler Locks, part number 63228 in 2" and part number 63227 in 2-5/16". .

Very impressive hitch lock. I put it on my log splitter and I feel like it is safe now. I had one stollen, but I don’t think they will get this one.

The coupler lock works as advertised and the etrailer measurements were perfect. The tie down brackets were also easy to install and work well for holding down my ATV and UTV. The spare tire carrier, wheel and cover all came from etrailer. They fit perfectly.

Trailer hitch lock still working great 1 year later. An advantage of this cylinder lock system is that once you take it off the hitch, you can take the key out and when ready to lock your hitch again, just slide it on and push the lock up into the ball receptacle - job done.

Havn't had the product long enough for a complete evaluation but it is exactly as I expected it to be and fits my 10x6' trailer that I haul my trike and other things on as expected and as decribed. I use it along with a hasp lock and plan to take vacation with it soon.

I have 4 of these locks on my trailers for the last 20 plus years and have never had any issues whatsoever. Best lock for A frame type couplers.

Great transaction , great product , purchased trailer tongue lock that comes with two keys for $29.95.(FAIR PRICE) . I could not order product with additional keys, I had to wait for the lock and then order additional keys. TWO ADDITIONAL KEYS COST MORE THAN THE LOCK , $37.84 for two keys. Just doesn't seem right!!!

I purchased my trailer used, but in excellentshape and the seller had the Gorilla Guard Trailer Coupler lock on the unit. He would not let the lock go with the trailer and spoke so highly of it, I purchased my own. I could not be more pleased with the product or etrailer.com. Fit right onto a standard 2" ball coupler. Very easy to lock onto trailer. Should deter most thieves effectively.

Have been looking for a drop hitch and vehicle/trailer flucuate between 3 1/4" to 4 1/2" drop depending upon load(s). Researched many and BW seemed to be best/recommended choice. Haven't used yet, but very solid construction.
