Question:

Im seeking a replacement beam axle with hubs for my 4X8 utility trailer- about 1 ton. The beam is 2X2 tube steel with a 4 . Hub to hub measures 60. Leaf spring center to center is 46. The hub/rims are 5 lug

We have an option for an axle that measures 60 inches from hub face to hub face and comes with hubs that have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern (5 lugs), though it is a round axle as opposed to a 2" x 2" tube. The axle has a 2,200 lb capacity and is the following part number:

- Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 60" Long - 2,200 lbs # e22GR

The # e22GR also has spring centers that are 48" apart on center, so you'd need to have new spring seats welded on, the Spring Seat for Typical 2,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 1-3/4" Diameter # TRSS175.

These will work for 2,200 lb axles as well as 2,000 lb axles because they both have the same 1-3/4" diameter. Then for mounting the axle you can use the U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-10.
