I have chrome after market caps on my mirrors will these fit over them.

Hi Larry!

The K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side # KS80710 are designed to snap over stock mirrors, so I can't say for sure if they will or will not fit with those aftermarket chrome caps you have on your 2018 Ram 1500. I would tend to lean towards them not fitting properly though, unfortunately.

With that said, I think what you are going to want is the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 2 # KS3891-2. These are a universal type fit, but they are our most popular option for that style as they are very secure and just work well. The convex mirror also gives you a good amount of sight picture, so they are highly recommended.

My stock '14 with stock chrome mirror heads are mighty tight compared to my '10 without chrome that are easy to install and remove. I can't say for aftermarket chrome, but I doubt it depending on the manufacturer of those.
