Magnetic LED Tow Lights

A towed vehicle is required by law to have functional brake and signal lights that illuminate at the same time as the brake and signal lights on the motorhome or RV that is towing it. These removable tow lights make it easy to add running lights, brake lights, and turn signals to your towed car or trailer.

Simply mount the lights on your vehicle's trunk or roof with the heavy-duty magnetic bases. A 63" long section of wiring connects the tow lights, giving you enough slack to position the lights where you want them. Then run the 245" long wiring harness up to the front of your towed vehicle and across your tow bar and connect it to the 4-way flat on your RV.

If your RV doesn't have a trailer connector, then you can wire the extra 35" long 4-way harness that comes with this kit to your RV. And if your RV has a 6-way or 7-way trailer connector, an adapter (sold separately) will be required to connect the tow lights to your RV.

Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

The wiring length should be increased by at least five feet. We have a small vehicle and still needed to use an extension. Otherwise it is a terrific solution.

Have not used yet but I think it will be great

by:

Bought these magnetic trailer lights for my hitch-mounted e-bike rack. With two bikes on the rack, the rear car lights are partly obscured. These lights attach firmly to the rack with the magnets but I will secure them with straps as the rack surface is rounded. Plenty bright. Haven’t gone any distance yet, but I will drive reassured that the cars behind will better see my braking and turning.

These work fine and are bright. I plant them behind my toad's roof rack and add a little duck tape for security. I have lost other ones before. It may be overkill on these as magnet is good.

I've seen magnetic tow lights before but not like these LED's. As soon as they arrived I opened them up, checked them out and they are very well built, the magnets seem very firm and they are BRIGHT. The video on the ETrailer site does no represent how bright these light are in my opinion. Very pleased with the quality and how visible these lights are.

Great product, just as described. I am using it on my kayak trailer to replace the original incadescent lights.

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2006 Ford Ranger Behind a Motor Home
If your 2006 Ford Ranger is an XL or XLT then use # 483-1 for base plates. Use # 477-1 if it's a Sport model or # 477-5 for the STX. All of these sets are compatible with the Blackhawk 2 tow bar # RM-422 The tow bar is rated for 10,000 pounds. You will also need safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking. For safety cables use # BX88196, rated for 7,500 pounds. For lighting you can use a simple magnetic light kit # TLL21RK. Most states now require a supplemental braking system...

  • Will Blue Ox Portable Braking System work on 2005 Toyota Corolla
Thank you for your recent order. Yes, the Blue Ox Portable Braking System, # BLU37TR, will work on your 2005 Toyota Corolla. This system activates the brakes in your towed vehicle at the same time and with the same intensity as the brakes in your RV. In order for the brake lights to activate when you push the brakes on the RV, you will need to install a wiring kit on the Corolla. We offer three different installation options. The Roadmaster Separate Lighting Kit, # 154-792-118158, connects...
