Erickson Ratchet Straps - EM31352

  • Manual
  • 6 - 10 Feet Long
  • S-Hooks
  • 0 - 1 Inch Wide
  • Erickson
  • 1501 - 2000 lbs
  • 4 Straps

  • Truck Bed

The steel ratchet on each of these straps has a built-in Web Clamp. The spring-loaded clamp holds unused webbing in place so it won't tangle or flap in the wind. Vinyl-coated hooks let you anchor the straps to tie-down points. 1,500 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Tie-down straps let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer
  • Spring-loaded Web Clamps hold excess strap neatly in place on ratchet handles
    • Helps prevent unused strap from tangling or flapping in the wind
  • Steel ratchet mechanisms make it easy to tighten down straps and maintain tension on straps
    • Easy-to-grip handles
  • S-hooks have hardened steel cores to ensure that they won't bend or flex
  • Vinyl coating on S-hooks helps prevent scratches on your cargo
  • Sturdy polyester webbing

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 1" wide x 10' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 500 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 1,500 lbs
  • Quantity: 4 ratchet straps
  • 90-Day limited warranty

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

  • Can a Trailer hitch Mount Cargo Carrier be Used at the Back of a 5th Wheel Trailer for Generator
I do have a solution for you but our contacts over at Pro Series have recently told us that the cargo carriers they manufacture, including # 63153, are not rated for use behind a 5th wheel trailer. Curt has carriers that can be used on the back of a RV like the # C18152. There is much more movement at the back of your 5th wheel trailer than on a vehicle so you will want to make the carrier as stable as possible using the built-in anti-rattle device. I also strongly recommend using straps...

  • Are Thule Easyline Trailer Kits Available?
We offer a few utility trailer kit options, but the Thule Easyline trailer kits were discontinued about about 10 years ago. If you are in the market for a lightweight trailer kit, I recommend looking at either the Detail K2 Mighty Utility Trailer, # K2MMT5X7, which is very similar to the older Thule Easyline trailers or the Detail K2 Multi Utility Trailer, # K2MMT4X6, which has lower sidewalls, but it includes a taller tailgate that can act as a ramp for 4 wheelers and ATVs. I've attached...

  • E-Track Recommendations For 7 By 14 Enclosed Trailer To Carry Classic Motorcycles
With cargo like your two classic Harleys you will want to make sure they are really well secured to prevent any damage. I recommend securing the E-Tracks to something more stable than just wood. If you are attaching the tracks to the floor I recommend you make sure they are secured either to the metal structure of the trailer or use metal plates like the E-Track Backing Plate, part # e96RR, to make it as secure as possible. If the interior floor and walls are 7 ft long I recommend 5...

  • Recommended Travel Trailer Hitch Receiver and Cargo Carrier for Gas Generator
On your Dutchmen Coleman Lantern 17rd travel trailer, I recommend the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 which has a weight capacity of 350 lbs maximum tongue weight. Then for a 4,000 watt running generator like the Q-iPower # 289-AP5000 which weighs 117 lbs and has dimensions of 23-1/4" long x 17" wide x 18-1/2" tall, you will want a cargo carrier like the TorkLift Lock and Load # TLA7752. This will not only help carry the generator but also deter theft. If you want...

  • Bicycle Trailer for Use with Recumbent Bikes
We have what you need to transport your two recumbent bikes, the ICE VTX trike and the Bacchetta Corsa 2-wheel recumbent bike. The Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer # K2MMT5X7 has a bed that measures 88 x 52 inches and it can be used with its front and rear tailgates down if needed. Since the longest VTX is 90-1/4-inches this should do the trick. When you're not biking you can use the trailer's 1640-lb payload capacity for chores around the yard. Tie down points are provided...

  • Recommendation for Transporting 2 Kayaks on Rockwood Premier Pop-Up Camper
Thank you for providing a photo of your truck and Rockwood pop-up camper, on which you want to transport your two kayaks. The type of kayak carrier I recommend for your application is the foam block variety. This style is both among the lowest-cost available and is also very light in weight. Low weight is an important consideration since the top of your Rockwood pop-up may have a limited weight carrying capacity. You'll want to check your owner's manual or with your local Rockwood dealer...

  • Keeping Cargo from Moving and Shifting in Enclosed Trailer
Adding trailer suspension enhancement such as # TTRA1702 can definitely help with ride quality but I think the best solution to keep loads on the pallet is some cargo control devices. You could start with a cargo net, I have included a link to the various sizes we carry. A cargo net is a simple solution to secure a large group of items with one device. You can also get some E-Track, # E19148, and attach them to the sides of the trailer. Then use some D-Ring tie downs, # E59143, and ratchet...

  • Carrier Recommendation for Transporting Razor Metro EcoSmart Scooter

  • How to Carry 2 Vespa 300 Scooters with a 32ft Class C Motor Home
Your best option for carrying your Vespa 300 scooters with your Class C motor home is to pull a small trailer. We do not have any hitch mounted motorcycle carriers that will allow you to carry both scooters at the same time. We have everything you need to equip a simple cargo trailer for carrying both scooters. A few parts you will want to look into are wheel chocks like part # TWSPWC3BT (1 per scooter), tie down rings like part # RR05, and tie down straps, like # EM31352.

  • Recommended Wheelchair Carrier for Class I Hitch on 2003 Honda Civic
I do have some possible solutions for you, however we do not currently offer any carriers that can work with a heavy wheelchair on a Class I hitch like the one you have on your 2003 Honda Civic. Class I hitches are not rated to handle the weight of a heavier wheelchair and wheelchair carrier behind the vehicle. If the wheelchair you plan on carrying is a standard lightweight folding wheelchair, you can use a cargo carrier with your trailer hitch. The lightest carrier that is compatible...

  • Best Way to Transport 2 Paddleboards on 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport Hardtop
Your Jeep Wrangler with its hard top gives you two options for paddleboard transport. One is VERY low in cost and simple to use. Roof racks are available for your hardtop and these would allow use of a paddleboard carrier but not the discontinued Thule SUP Taxi Paddleboard Carrier that you referenced (this carrier requires a minimum crossbar spread of 24-inches and the racks only provide 18-inches of spread). The link provided shows these roof racks, which include the most cost-effective...

The Rhino-Rack roof rack that you referenced, the Vortex Aero system for naked roofs consisting of parts # RRVA150S-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK155, is an excellent (and quiet) roof rack system for your 2009 Honda Ridgeline. All the racks for your truck will have a crossbar spread of 29-1/2-inches centered on your roof and all can be seen on the link provided. For transporting lumber loads as long as 16-feet I suggest you use a roof rack combined with a hitch-mounted load support such as the...

  • How to Secure a Vespa Scooter with 12 Inch Wheels and Tires in an Enclosed Cargo Carrier
The MaxxTow wheel chock should only be used with 14 to 21 inch wheels. A 12 inch wheel on a scooter could be a problem because the brakes and other suspension components will also be lower compared to a 15 inch or larger wheel and that interference would cause the scooter to not fit. I checked our similar wheel chocks and I am not confident that any of them would be suitable for a 12 inch wheel but I do have a possible solution for you. To secure the scooter I recommend mounting some...

I'm not sure how long the straps can be for your application exactly but the Bulldog Winch Cam Buckle Straps # BDW20303 measure about 28 inches at their shortest. If the length is short enough to tighten then these will work well because they're tough straps. If they aren't going to work ratchet straps like the Erikson # EM31352 will work just fine for you as well

Your 2014 Mazda CX-5 has a towing capacity of 2000 lbs which restrict a trailer hitch like # C12170 to that capacity. For your Club Cart Golf Cart, from what measurements and weights I can find online, the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer - 7-1/2' Long - 1,640 lbs # K2MMT5X7 is a great option for you. • Can a Trailer Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier be Used on the Back of a 5th Wheel Trailer
A trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier can be used on the back of a 5th wheel trailer. But you must keep in mind that there is significantly more bouncing at the back of the trailer. Because of this I recommend some extra precautions to secure the carrier and cargo. First, I recommend the use of an anti-rattle device such as the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch, # RM-061. This device will hold the carrier shank tight against the inside of the receiver to eliminate movement. I have included a link...

If you do not have a hitch on your 2011 Chrysler 300, I recommend a hitch and a cargo carrier. After doing some research on your vehicle I found that the towing weight capacity is 1,000 lbs. that means the maximum tongue weight capacity or total weight a hitch could handle is approximately 100 lbs. I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36548. This is a Class ll hitch and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. I also recommend a flat hitch-mounted cargo carrier like the Rola Packer...

  • Bike Rack for 2014 Toyota Corolla S With Spoiler to Transport Recumbent and Standard Bicycles
Trunk-mount bike racks like Thule's Gateway XT 3-Bike Rack # TH78VR can often be a good solution for transporting standard bikes but a recumbent bike or trike, due to its larger size and considerably greater weight, makes trunk-mount racks less desirable. In addition, your application on a vehicle with a spoiler makes fitting a trunk-mount rack more challenging. The wheelbase component will not work for your 74" tandem. There is not a bike rack that will accommodate your tandem. • Recommended Tie-Down Straps for Eagle Boat Trailer & 2015 Alumacraft Competitor 165 Sport
Trailer cargo control tie-down straps should always be selected based on their working load limit (WLL), which is one-third of their actual break strength. You never want to exceed a strap's safe WLL in any application. CargoBuckle Cargo Tie Downs # IMF103745 have a WLL of 466-lbs each. If one of these failed in your 2-strap set-up then I recommend adding more straps to better distribute the overall load. I recommend using four straps. You could use two sets of the Erickson Re-Tractable...

It is compatible with 10-foot-long x 30-inch-wide fishing kayaks; I confirmed this with my contact at Thule. You will have no problem inserting the shank of the Pro Series Cargo Carrier, # 63155, into the 1-1/4 inch receiver on your new 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. The important factor to consider when using this cargo carrier on your vehicle is cargo carrier to bumper clearance. To find this clearance, we need to take one simple measurement.
