I have a much better solution for you, but I would not recommend the Erickson Tie-Down Rope w/ Ratchet # 01801 for securing a Harley to the bed of a truck.
Instead I would recommend the Erickson Tie Down Set part # EM31352 that comes with 4 ratcheting straps that would work great for what you are trying to do. I attached a review video for you to check out as well.
