Shackle link helps connect double-eye leaf spring to rear hanger or equalizer on trailer suspension systems. Shackling the 2 components together allows the necessary pivot of the springs. Measures 3-1/8" from center of hole to center of hole.

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at replacement shackle straps for your trailer suspension. Most times our trailers are stored outside and they're exposed to a lot of elements. So just like any metal, it can corrode over time and you can see here's our old shackle strap. It has seen better days, and sometimes your holes can actually begin to oblong over time as the suspension moves. And unfortunately, once it starts to do that, it can get worse over time. So replacing something that connects all your suspension, these are gonna be a strong point to have your lease springs go to your equalizer.
So making sure that these are actually structurally strong are gonna make sure that your suspension is gonna be working properly and safely. So these straps have a diameter hole for the bolt of nine sixteenths. And you're gonna want to look at your old shackle straps to make sure that these are a direct replacement. And you're gonna measure the length by going from the center of the hole to the center of the hole. And these ones are gonna be three and 1/8th of an inch.
These are going to be steel construction, so they're gonna be nice and sturdy. And also when replacing anything on your suspension, this is just gonna kind of give it a fresh look. You know, if you're replacing your equalizer and you have rusty shackle straps, that doesn't really aesthetically look great, so this is gonna give it a fresh look and also be structurally strong. Now these are sold individually. So if you are replacing your tandem axle equalizer, you're gonna wanna pick up four of them.

I fabricate roll-out boat docks. I also fabricate light weight hinged shore ramps to make the transition from dock to shore. We weld 2 shackles at the end of a dock and the end of a ramp. We secure the ramp shackle to the dock shackle with a straight clevis pin and cotter creating a simple hinge effect. I like buying them in bulk vs a retailer that sells them in 2 paks and etrailer provides a good product at a fair price.

I broke one spring on my tandem axle trailer. After a little internet search I found etrailer. I decided to change all springs(upgraded to p4)shackles,equalizers,n bolts) total price around $200.00 about 40 percent cheaper than a local trailer repair shop..I ordered it early on a Tuesday and I got the order on Wednesday. Changed out parts on Thursday and back on the road on Friday. Great company to deal with!!
I have bought several products from etrailer. Trailer fenders, spare tire brackets, tongue jack and retractable stern straps. Since I measured the old parts I was able to find the exact replacements for those parts. The job went so smoothly without any issues. These springs raised the trailer height without any load on the axles 1.5 inches. It was definitely time for new springs and hardware. Im kind of glad the one spring broke.
This is a multiple product review. The long bracket are good. The shorter brackets are of the same good quality. The issue is using the short brackets with the shackles. The shorter brackets could be narrower so the shackle line up better with spring and other longer bracket. We used washers to make it align better. The greasing bolts are good, but could be longer. so we could only use 2 of the 6 and had to use normal grade 8 bolts.
the product arrived quickly and new as promised. I was so impressed with the customer service personal. I needed help with size the associate I spoke with was so knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for trailer parts. Or any other product they may carry.

wonderful as it should
I am completely satisfied with service and the product that I purchased from etrailer.com. The measurements and specifications on the web site were complete and accurate. Shipping was prompt and the parts were packed more carefully than anything that I have purchased online. Installation of my replacement leaf springs went seamlessly which I really appreciated as I had to leave my broken trailer at my hunt camp and had limited tools to do the repair.
I can't recommend etrailer.com highly enough. They are now my first choice in trailer parts.
