Question:
Greeting 3R parts dept, I am looking for 1/4 inch thick shackles for my Bison Trailhand. We have broken the 3/16 inch thick shackles three times in the past few years. My name is Jody Sloan.

Greetings Jody, the only shackle I could find that is 1/4" thick is the Shackle Strap # TRSL313. This shackle is 3 1/8" from bolt hole center to center, has overall dimensions of 4 1/2" long x 1 1/4" wide, and has 9/16" diameter bolt holes.
Keep in mind, to replace your shackles you're going to need to pick one that dimensionally matches what you currently have.

Hey Jody, did the 1/4-inch shackle strap end up matching the size you needed for your Bison Trailhand? Knowing how it worked could help others trying to upgrade from thinner shackles.
