Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this shackle bolt for double eye leaf springs. Now, this grade five nine sixteenths of an inch in diameter shackle bolt is used to mount a double eye spring inside a front or rear hanger on your trailer's leaf springs suspension. This is going to work with the lock nut identified by the item number that you see there on your screen and you can just take that number and put it in the search field of our website and that will take you to that lock nut if you are also in need of that. And just to give you some overall dimensions of this bolt so you can be confident that this is going to work for you, I'm including a diagram on the screen that's going to show virtually every dimension that you're going to need. As you can see, the length under the head is three inches long.
As I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, the bolt diameter is nine sixteenths of an inch. The usable length is two and three eighths inches. The thread length is five eighths of an inch. The thread size is nine sixteenths of an inch by 18 fine and the head diameter is 13 sixteenths of an inch.
