Question:
I just installed leaf spring item # sp-051275. It fits on my trailer just like the old one did, except what I didn’t realize till after was that the old spring had a slipper eye. There was no shackle for the slipper eye, only a single bolt that passes through the frame and through the eye, for both ends of the spring. I’d send photos in this put it won’t allow me. Spring size, weight capacity and number of leafs are all appropriate for this trailer. Just worried that I may need to take it apart and get a different spring now. Any help would be appreciated.

Feel free to send me the pictures you have via email. If one side of the suspension hangers doesn't have a shackle setup you'll need to install some so that suspension can extend as it compresses. Otherwise it won't function well since the spring would have no where to stretch to as it compresses. For 3-1/8 inch shackles we have the part # TRSL313. Then for a shackle bolt that comes with a nut you'd want the part # 166081.
