When your old mounts wear out, the suspension can’t do its job. This hanger kit restores that solid connection with (2) 3-1/4" tall front hangers and (2) 7/8" tall rear hangers that secure your double-eye leaf springs to the frame. Designed for single axles rated from 2,000 lbs to 7,000 lbs, it keeps the suspension geometry right so your trailer tracks straight and rides smooth.
A comfortable ride depends on the right clearance. This kit is laid out to achieve either 4-3/4" or 5-3/8" between the trailer frame and axle, depending on axle size. That spacing gives your suspension room to move without bottoming out, keeping things level and steady no matter the load.
Loose or binding suspension hardware can ruin a trip fast. The kit includes (4) 3-1/8" long shackle straps, (6) 3" long x 9/16" diameter shackle bolts, and (6) 9/16" diameter locknuts. Tighten the bolts so they contact the shackle strap, then add a quarter turn—the locknuts hold firm and prevent backing off while still letting the springs move freely.
Everything you need to mount your leaf springs is in one place. The matched hanger heights, shackle length, and included fasteners make it easy to line up and weld into position. Just verify placement with your specific spring spacing before final welding, and you’ll have a solid, correctly-spaced suspension ready for miles of towing.

Excellent product at a fair price. Well made. Welded them on my 30 year old trailer I am rebuilding. They were easy to put on and the suspension was nice and tight when I was done.
Everything fit like a glove, but the bolts and nuts seemed low grade.

Good kit for the single axle trailer I built
Perfect. All the parts were in the box and exactly what I needed.. The measurements were right on. My only down was the back order. They let me make the order then a few days later told me they didn't have it so they had to wait for it. Then they said once they get it I could pay extra shipping to get it here faster.. That was wrong on there part. After I explained how wrong they did pay for the ground from ups then to ship it faster once they got the parts in. They were great in helping me when I did call.

Produce great. Shipped same day as ordered. Received 5 days later 1/2 way across USA. But if it has been shipped just UPS I would have received it 2 days faster, instead of UPS SUREPOST that always takes 1 to 2 days extra to transfer?

Just starting the manufacture of an item I finally finished design/layout. Industrial Designer for 20 years before teaching. Anyway, starting to assemble parts to begin cutting/welding/etc and some of the things you just have to touch and feel before you really know how they will work.
Purchased some spring seats, hanger kits, and U-bolt kits. Parts look fine and should work just as well. Thanks etrailer.
Used this kit to get rid of the annoying slip springs on my Harbor Freight trailer. Everything fit nicely and the trailer is makes much less noise. I re-made the base-plate these weld onto with some Angle iron I picked up at Home Depot. (See enclosed pictures) All-in-all I am happy with this suspension kit and would recommend if you are doing a similar project.
My 6' x 10' landscape trailer was a homemade by a prior owner. While it was mostly constructed very well, the spring hangers were not correct. The spacing for the springs was also wrong, and it had very little fender clearance. There was also evidence that the spring U-bolts had contacted the frame on occasion. (I do not carry loads anywhere near the 3500# axle rating.)
I added an extra set of holes on the front hangers in case the ride height proved to be too much, but I like the way it sits with the stock holes. I don't think I'll be utilizing the extra holes.
This kit was just the ticket to increase the suspension travel and fender clearance on my landscape trailer. Now it "sits right"!

I recently carried over a ton of rip-rap with my trailer. The trailer still had plenty of of axle and fender clearance. This kit has proved to be just the remedy for my landscape trailer.
Perfect component for my 2000# undercarriage project. Very sturdy and fit as advertised.
