Question:
I am using this kit APS5 with e54SR springs. Your chart shows the spacing between hangers as 2-3/4. The hole spacing on the springs is 2-1/4. Shouldnt the spacing on the hangers be shorter that the hole spacing of the springs so the straps angle back like this front \ rear? With the hangers wider wont the shackles angle forward like this front / rear?

Expert Reply:
The distance between the spring eyes on center for # e54SR is 25-1/8 inches. When using hanger kit # APS5 the distance on center between the hangers with this spring is 25-3/4 inches, a 1/2 inch longer. This is correct. The hanger spacing should be longer and the bottom of the shackle strap should angle towards the front. Once there is weight on the suspension the angle of the shackle will change.
