This is a great kit! It included everything we needed to replace the old, worn-out brackets on our 6'x10' trailer. The directions were helpful and the brackets and hardware are nice and solid. We've had zero issues with the leaf springs (purchased on, also) or the brackets. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent, had everything I needed and more for my trailer. Everything fit well!

I ordered replacement leaf springs for my trailer using the instructions provided by etrailer. The correct items were shipped and they fit perfectly! The mounting hardware was exactly what was needed. No extra parts were needed as in run to the local hardware store! The springs went in with no problems.
I would absolutely buy from etrailer again as their customer service was excellent as was the products.

I bought a axle, springs wheels, hubs etc. to build a utility trailer, I inadvertently had ordered incompatible hubs for the selected axle the person filling the order noticed this and contacted customer service to alert them of the issue who then called me to correct the problem. This saved me the time and expense of returning the part and delaying the project. great service, attentive, knowledgeable employees and great products.
Thanks E trailer.

Fast shipping. Great customer service. Also bought left springs to go with. Worked great on my small boat trailer.

James G.

1year and still doing great. Thanks

Everything fit perfectly

Sometimes on older trailers the leaf spring bushings will wear out and the mounting bolts will get wear grooves in them. Its cheap to replace everything play it safe.

Everything fit perfectly.

I haven't installed this yet but it is just what I needed and expected. My old boat trailer need new everything so this does it for me, just some time to weld it on.

Joe W.

These spring hangers worked great. My boat is back on the road!

I have purchased several items from etrailer and have always been very satisfied with there parts and there service. I have never had the pleasure of talking with any of there reps, because they do such a great job of describing their parts with videos and knowledgeable people it makes the job easy. When you live in a small town you can't just go down town and buy a new set of spring hangers or a new spring, but with the push of a button you can usually find what you need and it is priced fairly.I am a very satisfied customer. keep up the goog work etrailor

Items were shipped quickly. All parts were clean ready to weld in place. While my project may have a long way to go, the installation of the springs was quick and easy with springs and the mounting kit from etrailer.

After purchasing an order of springs, shackle kit, U-bolts, bearing kit and a new Pro jack for a trailer repair I discovered a week delay in shipping due to one of the items on back order. (Email the day after I ordered informing me of the delay) A call to Angie K. On that Sunday!!!! And she had an in stock item to replace it and had my order on its way Monday morning , Thank You Angie everything sent was what I ordered and correct. Communication was great and they did what they said they would, Good prices and free shipping on my orderThanks again

Wow, the shackle plates were long, but everything is quality materials. The nuts are locking and bolts are hard. Nuts threaded on without and problems. took a bit till I figured out the after shackle hanger where it said Up was to be against frame before welding. Welded on with easy,no penetration problem what so ever

Works as good as expected

The parts I thoug call with hardware kit was thing didn't need we're ther the parts I thoug came with kit not ther had buy eels We r u bolts were not in kit the main thing I thoug wood be in kit thanks

Phil, thanks for your business and your review. Since the required U-bolt lengths and diameters vary from axle to axle, the mounting components are sold separately. The U-bolt kits may be found at this link:

Quality seems good and I REALLY appreciate the opportunity to acquire these items as a complete set for my application

holding up great.

I have not welded them unto the trailer as yet, but the parts seem to be of high quality.

Van V.

Everything seems to be working fine. I have had no problems with the parts.

Great prices, fast shipping, and great customer communication! Just received my order, and getting ready for install. Would definitely order from etrailer again!

Jason M.

Thanks for following up. I used your product on a motorcycle trailer I was building for a trip I made last year. Im extremely impressed with the quality of your product, and also the affordable pricing! I had two Harleys on the trailer with a total worth of about $65,000 and we hauled them from Nevada to Ohio and back with zero issues and your product performed flawlessly. Thanks so much again

I haved purchased numerous products from etrailer, no disappointments ever
This company delivers at a 5 star rating

Its been a year and the parts are working great

Parts are very good was fast ...price was very fair. Thank you

I used these to install new springs on my trailer. For the price, it was easier than ordering all the parts separate. They are not galvanized so I painted the parts. Parts all came very quickly.

All the parts have great quality. Haven't gotten to building the trailer as yet!

They are working perfectly!

Got this & A Tandem Axle Set. Was very, Very Happy with my order and was delivered very, very fast too. The wonderful Lady who I ordered it from, Was a, Supper nice person. I Loved talking with her. She was so carring and helpful. She is a very Big Asset to your company. Thank you All so much. Will now be ordering ALL my Trailer parts from you ONLY. Again, Thank You So Much.

I used these hangers to weld up a new adjustable spring & axle carrier with new springs on a small boat trailer. Great quality, low price and fast shipping. Bravo e Trailer.

Parts are exceptional quality. Shipping very fast. I will continue to choose for my purchases, as the quality and price are far better than locally available.

As I have come to expect E Trailer has delivered on time and in good condition. The leaf spring mounts fits perfectly and my trailer is on the road again.

With the Redline 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e64SR for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles the correct nylon bushings to use are already included in with the spring. If you need shackle bolts to install the springs you can use either dry bolt # 166081 or wet (greaseable) bolt # 126B2. For a single axle trailer you can use hanger kit # APS1. For a u-bolt kit to mount your 3-inch axle to your springs you can use part # APUBR-8.

  • Can Unique Leaf Springs be Replaced on a Very Old Trailer
I believe the hubs are for 2,000 or 2,200 pound agricultural axles which is why the springs look so different. These hubs are designed for very low speed applications (5 to 10 miles per hour according to HADCO) so if you plan on going faster than that you will need to look at replacing the axle and hubs. You could use 2 of spring # e66SR. Each spring has a capacity of 1,250 pounds. If a new hanger kit is needed you can use # APS1. When used with spring e66SR the center to center distance...

The difference in the kits are in the rear hangers and the shackle straps. The Redline Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit, part # APS1, uses the Redline Rear Hanger, part # 30-20, which uses a steel bushing and is .91 inches tall. When choosing between the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs part # APS1, part # APS2, and part # APS3 it will be best to use the one that has measurements that most closely resemble what is already on your trailer. For example, if your rear leaf spring hangers are 7/8" tall or shorter than you would want to use part # APS1 but if they are taller then this you would want to use part # APS2 or part # APS3. • Should the Trailer Suspension Rear Hanger be Closer or Farther From the Axle than Rear Spring Eye
The rear hanger should be slightly closer to the axle (forward) of the trailer. If you look at the drawing on the product page for Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs, # APS1, you will see the rear hanger is more forward than the center of the rear eye of the spring. The shackle, then, is at a slight angle with the top more forward than the bottom. • Determining Spring Hanger Spacing When Installing 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # PR4B
When installing trailer suspension I recommend that you completely mock the setup to determine the best placement for the hangers. To do this I would put all of the suspension together and clamp it in place with the rear shackles at a very slight angle rearward when the trailer is lowered and wheels are on the ground. The 25-3/4" spacing measurement that you referenced from the chart is a good starting point, but due the variance in leaf springs, hangers, and shackles, it can vary where...

  • Can Trailer Suspension Hangers Be Bolted on
You will want to weld the hangers of the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APS1. The holes you see are not designed to have bolts run through them. If you did run bolts they would most likely interfere with the spring and how it would sit on the hanger. I would recommend you have a qualified welder do this for you. • Trailer Leaf Spring Hanger Spacing Measurements for Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit APS1
The measurements given on the hanger kits including # APS1 are a guide only. The actual measurements will vary and to get the suspension set up correctly you would first mock up all the parts without permanently installing them. Then once the parts are in the proper positions they can be permanently installed. Basically the charts and measurements given on the hangers kits are good starting points but will not work for every situation.
